Is the reason most people choose whites and Asians as the most attractive because of racial/class hierarchy?

First let me tell you about me: I am from Alaska. I didn't grow up watching tv or other forms of media or interacting with many other people. I am an only child who was home schooled. I am white woman.

I personally see nothing attractive about European features.
I believe Asians are cute in general, but I don't find them sexually attractive. There's nothing sexually attractive about their features to me. They're face are very neotonous. But overall I wouldn't say they look sexual. When I think sexual I think manly or feminine looking. But they don't seem to fit either. They look too much like children in many cases and it's my belief that it's mostly pedophiles who like them.

As for why people find whites attractive. I don't get it. They overall have nothing that's remotely attractive about their features or shape. Thin lips, stringy thin hair that is pre-disposed to balding early, huge brow ridges, square jawlines, body shapes with huge torso's and shorter legs. Non athletic or non-curvacious physique. I guess I would say in general their body types and features in generally seem masculine, but body wise I'd say they seem pre-pubescent.. So although it could be considered attractive sexually, their features aren't nice or pleasing to look at. It feels like I am looking man when I see white women.

Black people are hands down the most attractive to me. They clearly just have more sexual and evolutionary beneficial features. Full lips, perfect mix of athletic and curvy bodies, long legs, thick curly hair, feminine hips, breast, buttocks, round/oval faces, large penis, small/tighter stronger birth canal, button nose, and dark skin that has helps them age well.

When listing it all out it's no question that hands down blacks have more sexual and evolutionary beneficial features which in the animal kingdom should make them the most attractive mate, yet online polls rate them as the least attractive consistently.

Why is this?

I don't think you understand how evolution works. None of those things are exactly enhancing their ability to survive and it only improves their chances of procreation with people who find those traits desirable (which obviously isn't everyone). Also, these opinions largely tend to be western in nature, where fact of the matter is, white people are the majority, so you're going to get over representation of whites in the dating scene and in these opinion surveys.

I would say there are some racist and classist reasons as well but that's mostly in their historical representation in the media. White people have always been in the media and are portrayed as the attractive people. They're also much easier to take pictures of considering photographic tech was originally built and optimized for them (I can link an interesting article that explores this in depth later). As for Asians, they've historically been treated as exotic (well, the women anyway, Asian dudes often get the short end of the stick). It's also no secret that blacks were largely enslaved in much of America and that America still carries undertones of that to this day which at least in the past, made it much more difficult for a black person to get a role that portrayed them positively. Nowadays that's not the case but it takes a lot of time for change in perception to come about.

No I understand perfectly how evolution works. Evolution is the process for which certain traits are passed on that are beneficial for a group or species to have while the rest die off and the ones who have those traits carry those same successful traits to their offspring. As far as I see. Paler skin has no benefits to it. From a scientific stand point. It was once assumed that lighter skinned people were better able to get Vitamin D, however newer studies show black people already have high amounts of vitamin D like nutrients in their bodies. This is why blacks are the least likely to get osteoporosis and have in general the strongest bones. Darker skin also scientifically has been proven to age the best.

Also physique wise. Blacks on average run the fastest and have longer limbs which are beneficial. Black men supposedly have longer penises while recent studies have shown black women have smaller and stronger vagina's which I suppose shows sex would be more enjoyable. As for child birth. Black men and women more feminine hips and larger buttocks (both sexual cues that aid in reproduction and childbirth). Blacks also have the highest fertility rate. All these things and more are markers for sexual attractiveness in the animal kingdom.

There's a fundamental thing you're forgetting here though. Humans don't need any of that for the success of their offspring at this stage. We've evolved and developed to a point where social cues matter more than pure physical advantages. It's one of the main things separating us from most of the animal kingdom (and I say most because there are other species like us here on earth that have their own cultures and ways of deciding attractiveness beyond whoever is just the best physically suited mate). Reason being, humans don't face threats to their survival from outside our own species at this point. We're not exactly being hunted by other animals nor do many of us struggle to find enough food to survive everyday. Being effectively the most advanced species on earth allows us to include other factors into choosing our mates. Hence why we're so influenced by the media and historical contexts.

Actually if you haven't realized stronger genes are important. Blacks in general have less birth defects on average than whites or Asians. Also the white birth rate is decreasing dramatically, and more white people are dying than being born. Same in many Asian countries. If you can't sustain a birth rate than you're race will die out eventually. But I suppose intermixing with other races wouldn't help a certain race either, since black genes are dominant. There's only so much science can do. The white populations all over the world are dying off.

"Stronger" genes are important to only a certain extent. I mean, in reality, a bigger penis or longer limbs don't exactly provide you with many advantages. Stronger birth canals are a definite plus but that's one out of many aspects that don't really do much. Birth rates decreasing isn't necessarily a sign of less suitable traits. That's common in any group that is considered wealthy and educated. They put off having children longer and have fewer children because they're not driven by the same desire to make sure they're taken care of in old age. Many people also just make the decision to be be child free as well. I'm Indian by descent so I can look at my own family for proof of that. my generation has less kids than my parents and I'll have fewer kids than my parents as well since I can afford that. In countries like Japan, a lot of men are also just simply averse to marriage because they feel like it's a shit deal for many of them due to societal demands and cultural norms.

As far as birth defects go, sure, but how often do people pay attention to statistics when deciding to have kids? Drinking and smoking during pregnancy also causes an increase in defects but that doesn't stop a lot of people. Both parents being fit during conception increases fitness of a child but that doesn't mean parents go and get fit before deciding to have a child. People at the end of the day, often don't care about stuff like that until it actually directly affects them.

First of all, I'm a white male and I don't have any of the traits that you were talking about. Second of all everybody has their preference. Some people find black people attractive, like yourself. others like white people, other people like Asians etc. The reason why white people are seen as "more attractive" is because everybody is conditioned to find certain features better than others. You said it yourself, you didn't have access to tv or many other people during childhood so you have more of a "pure" attraction instead of a conditioned one like the rest of us.

I may not agree with your opinion on certain races (I can easily spot attractive humans of any stock, I'd say there are attractive and average-looking people everywhere), but I agree on the fact that black people may be the least desired type due to the remnants of colonial mindset the world still has (whites on top, blacks on bottom, everyone else in the middle; the closer you look to Europeans - the better).
I find neotenous features very attractive in women, thus Asian women and black women (who are more likely to look younger than their actual age) are more likely to be perceived as "cute" or "pretty" by me.
In men, I'd say, excessive neotenous features look strange, thus men I find attractive are more likely to be Caucasian. I find taller men much more attractive, thus I am less likely to find an Asian male attractive.
Other than that, any person with symmetrical features and in a good physical shape is physically attractive to me regardless of race.

I at first believed that black women had larger birth canal's however it was actually on here where an asker showed evidence that black women actually did have the strongest and smallest on average birth canals. This was surprising since I'd always been shown that black women have wide hips and larger buttocks, therefore concluding they would have larger birth canals as well. However, its actually us white women and Asian women who have larger birth canals because we give birth to larger headed children. I did more research on the subject and found that white women and Asian women although have larger hips, the shape of our hips is android shaped, which is mostly seen in males. The reason we grew larger hips was to compensate for the larger headed children. Black women have mostly gynecoid and anthropoid shaped hips which also explains their larger backsides and is seen in females. This makes childbirth easier, and black women give birth to smaller babies in general on average.

Very interesting point of view. My opinion is the following: Imaginary Racism. I call it imaginary because Races do not exist, they are a false scientific 'invention' of the 19th century to justify European colonialism.

This is since the Brits conquered the Indian continent and huge chunks of Africa and then declared that whites are superior and all dark skin people are inferior and need to be mastered and civilized. French, Germans, Belgians did the same in Africa.
