I think it's sad that your question is how many partners is too many for a women to have. This question should really be how many sexual partners are too many period, whether you are a girl or guy.
That being said, I don't think you can set a number and say (for example) 5 is okay but 6 is too many. For me sex has always been so much better when I had a lasting and sustained relationship with the person. I've always turned down the chance if I felt like it came to early or too easy. There is always that question of "if it was this easy for me to get into her pants how many others have been here before me."
So for me at least I wouldn't worry about an exact number, instead focus on whether the person you want to sleep with is going to stick around or if they are only interested in you physically.
Not easy ti pin a number on it but around 5 years ago becstartunerears ago I had a short relationship with a girl in her mid 20s and she told me she'd had sex with 31 different guys before me... I see her once or twice a year - just as friends - and a few weeks ago, after some drinks she was a little bit loose-tongued and told me she had now had sex with 48 men snd was hoping to hit "at least 50" by the time she's 30 in a couple of months !

That is just a bullshit question. There is never any reason to talk about sexual history. It is usually only young women that want to do that. It is nobody's business and doesn't impact your current relationship. As long as you don't have an STD, it doesn't matter.
I am not sure about the exact number, but the more guys fucked her, the worse it is. And for me even if she had one other guy it's an turn off, I prefer her to be an virgin.
