Girls, If a woman rapes a man, should he decide if the baby is aborted or birthed instead of her?

If a woman is raped by a man, many say that a woman can abort because it would remind her baby of her rapist if she births him/her. Well if a woman rapes a man, it would remind him that she is carrying his baby to birth and she would be celebrating her victory over raping him by not giving him the choice if baby is aborted or not. The victim should decide if they want the baby to live or not.

If she can have option to avoid becoming a biological mother if raped by having abortion of baby called for, then he should have option to avoid becoming a biological father if raped by having abortion of baby called for. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. The same rules should apply to men and women.

To some, it's a moot point since abortion is killing God's creation, regardless who raped who.

It is sexism to say raped women can be legally condoned to call for abortion but raped men can't be legally condoned to call for abortion. If she raped him, she shouldn't be allowed to have a free baby and I mean to decide if baby enters the world or not. The man that rapes a woman doesn't decide if the baby enters world or not, then neither should women that rape men decide if baby enters world or not. What's good for women is good for men. The same rules applies to everybody.

If a man rapes a woman, she gets to decide so he should too if he's raped. Rape supersedes whose body it is. She stole his seed and is only able to give birth in that instance because she stole what he didn't want put into her.

  • If a woman rapes a man and becomes pregnant, he should have no say in whether or not the child lives, but should have a choice in whether he ever wants to see the child or pay child support (as in have the option to not pay child support). It is her choice to have the baby in this case, so he shouldn't be held responsible for her actions

Either way (male or female) I don't think rape should constitute an abortion. I've met children who were products of rape and happy to be alive. If the parents don't want to keep a child, they should give it up for adoption. I've met several adopted children who love their adopted families and only one who didn't. Two of my co-workers are glad they were adopted because they know they wouldn't have the great lives they have today if their parents hadn't given them up. Adoption is always an option

    • @idonthaveausername If a man rapes a woman, she should have no say in whether or not the child lives either but she should have choice in whether she ever wants to see the child or pay child support. I'm against rape too but since the law allows female rape victims chance to execute an abortion, then male rape victims should be able to exercise an abortion. It matters not that it's her body because his seed was immorally entered into her. If the victim decides the abortion or birth, then there is no inequality and many women want the women to have power over a raped man because she wants superiority, not equality.

    • There's no equality for an aborted human life. Nobody should have the right to kill another regardless of how that life came into existence

    • @idonthaveausername That's true, even if it happened to you. I'm just implying that since women legally can abort if raped, that men should too if raped. But like you said, it's a moot point since abortion is a sin. Her act of abortion is just as bad as his act of rape as both are violating a life.

  • No. Because it's not his body. Probably make laws to protect men from that but all in all no other person can tell a woman what she can and can't do with her own body. In terms of abortion there is no "what's good for the goose is good for the gander" because the man doesn't carry the the foetus or birth it so therefore has no say and neither does anyone else for that matter.

    • @Anime27 What is good for her is good for him. If he rapes her, she gets to call for an abortion, then if she rapes him, he should get to call for abortion. So you believe she gets to birth a baby on stolen seed when he didn't even consent to having it in her to start with? When his seed was put into her, it was his body not given chance to be told where it got sent but oh you think women are special and can celebrate raping a man by not giving him the choice for baby's abortion. If a woman is raped, she can choose to avoid being a biological mother. So a man that's raped should be able to choose to avoid being a biological father. The victim should always choose. Not just female victims.

    • @Anime27 It's her body is a cop out because the way his seed got into her body violated his body when it was his body.

    • @Anime27 Yet you believe a woman can tell a man what to do with his body by forcing his seed into her and then her controlling the baby's abortion or birth status.

  • What a roduiculous scenario.

    • @SarahsSummer My mind comes up with the most odd of oddities that is second to none that nobody else would ask. If she is developing baby on stolen seed, then he should have say if the life is birthed or aborted since she decides if she is raped if life is birthed or aborted. He may not want his seed to be birthed if he was raped, then again, he may. Either way, victim is choosing.

  • Sure it's right, the victim should decide. But, do you think, after raping a man, she would care about his decision and do the right thing? Even if it was a law, if she already had raped a man, why would she care about an other law?

    • @dahzilian True because if she was raped, she would decide if baby is aborted or not. If she is having a baby developed on stolen seed, then he should decide. And there's a chance that raped man may want the baby to be birthed, just like a raped woman may want the baby to be birthed. Thus, the victim is deciding. This proves you are not sexist and are logical.

    • I am feminist actually haha ❤

  • Yes he should

  • He doesn't get to decide anything the fuck? He took her choice so why consider his?

  • Murdering a baby shouldn't be an option in the first place

    • @Ladyslipper Now we're talking. At least sexism isn't involved either way. Way to go, pro lifer! How did you gain those views?

    • I've just always had them, I was raised in a Christian family and all babies are gifts from God no matter how they are conceived

  • Your question is very smart. In my opinion he should be able to tell that he doesn’t want to see the consequence of this crime. Simultaneously, he can request for abortion if the rapist is going to use this against the survivor. So probably women and men should be able to speak against the consequences.

  • Yes. I Think so because it's just as much his babys as hers that's a fact. And just bacaue it's inside of her doesn't mean she owns a living thing lika it's her leg. It's a person with it's own soul and heart. So of a woman rapes a man the man should definatly chooce if she should do abortion or not. And if she is worried about what can happend to her body it's her fault, she shouldn't have raped anyone period

    • And I'm not gonna waste my time with an argument, whatever you think. I respect all opinions even if I disagree with some of them. So don't think about starting an argument IF anyone out there would because I'm not answering. It's a waste of time.
