Guys, Why would a guy want to videotape a sexual moment?

I have been involved with this guy for a while now. We are not in a bf-gf relationship, but we only mess around with each other and are very close emotionally as well. Right after we were done having sexy time, he showed me a few video recordings he took on his phone without me noticing, including us doing 69 and me giving him head. It was mostly myself that showed in the videos (only his penis was in view). When he sent me those videos I was surprised, laughing, and embarrassed. I said "you're not going to share this with anybody, right?" and he seemed to act like I was crazy for even thinking he would. I did not have a big reaction to the situation for some reason. Anyway, this brings me to ask why a man would want these videos? What will most men do with videos like that? Is it for his own personal pleasure during the act, for memory, or would he want to share them with others? Knowing him, he' isn't the type of person who likes to share his personal business with others, and he understands I wouldn't be okay with it. However, I do not want to be naive either. Guys, would you expect a girl to react more to be being secretly filmed?

Yeah im surprised you didn't flip out on him about it. Some people do it because it turns them on and they like to watch it afterwards.
But make sure he asks you next time and to keep it to himself.

Yeah I did talk to him about it a little and asked why he didn't ask me in the first place. He said, "because I didn't need to ask, I know you would've done it for me anyway." And said he was being kind of obvious with his phone (I wasn't noticing because I wasn't looking up tho). I said that I wouldn't have said yes to being filmed and Then I told him just to delete the videos where my face shows and he still refused. Why would he want them that bad? Just because he doesn't think he'll get them again or is this some sort of power move?

I would NEVER do that with someone I was with, unless she suggested it, and then, only in a really close, committed kind of relationship.
Even then, I'm not sure I would want to. WHY?
When I am with her, it is us, alone, and between us. Why video it? Just seems like a bad idea!!

honestly i just forget about them sometimes and they just stay on my hard drive, then when im single i remember that i still have them. Most of the time i don't even use them but i get bored sometimes. Naked pics aren't really for memory, i keep proper photos of girls that i look at for memories.

If he is jealous, then he probably won't, unless you choose someone else over him, then jealous people get very angry and lash out.

Just if you ever end things, don't be seeing someone else for a few months and it should be fine. But if he feels like things ended because you found someone you liked more, then watch out.
