well if you are having sex for a long period of time , it is normal for the penis to get a little soft because its all about blood flow. Now if he has a hard time getting back an erection, he's probably panicking and nervous or has a health issue that he doesn't know about.

He could be dehydrated, ifyoire dehydrated before and during sex it can cause erectile problems (only temporarily while dehydrated) get him to be hydrated next time you have sex and see if that helps
