Do black women look better as they age?

My friend was saying this and he gave examples. He said black girls are uglier when younger but when they hit 30+ that's when they start getting hot.

The whole "black don't crack" and "black women age in reverse" thing I've heard many times from people but is it true? Do most black girls if they eat well and stay in shape look better as they get older?

  • Lol no, unless you compare a 15 y/o with a 25 y/o. There's a point in life when everyone's looks start going down. For some it's later than for others, but in general, it's around 30 when most people's looks start decreasing. Late 20's is when you look your best; you're young, the air and the sun haven't fucked up your skin yet, your hair is also on point, perky boobs (for women), dicks still working (for men)... but then past 30 you start losing your good looks.
Sure, you're not losing everything, but you start deteriorating, that's just life. It happens to White people, Asians, Hispanics, Natives, and yes, Black people too.

    • Then how come the women who most of whom aren't even famous look better at over 40 than when they did when they were in their teens and 20's

    • Because money and makeup.

    • Look at Charlize Theron, she's not black.

  • Any of those actresses/models could have had surgery and other enhancements like botox to look young.

But to answer your question, It has to do with having lots of Melanin. The sun ages your skin, and if you are fairer skinned, you don't produce as much melanin as someone who is naturally darker skinned. You don't have as much protection from UV rays which will damage your skin overtime and make you look older faster.

  • Lots of black women are gorgeous when they are younger. It's just that some women grow into their looks as they age. That can apply to any race.
But I agree that Black women do age well it's the melanin in their skin. Scientific fact that people with darker skin retain smoother firmer skin longer than those with less pigment

  • I cannot distinguish between a 20 year old black and a 45 year old black since blacks don't crack.
Black race is the race who ages the best. Never give a fuck about racist scumbags say on here blacks are attractive 😊👌

    • About what racist scumbags say*

  • I want to believe its in the genes but keeping your body fit and healthy and consuming the right foods helps. My mom is gorgeous at 61 and I must admit that a couple of my crushes have tried hitting on her.

  • Actually yea lol we just... Mature better. Id say its the way we eat and our different cultural beliefs

  • They're beautiful ♡

  • We aren't ugly when we're young. Our melanin helps us to not age badly, of course lots of other factors weigh in but mostly it's the melanin in our skin. "Black don't crack" holds true for the most part.

  • For the most part. It's the melanin in our skin. I'm not sure if we start looking better, but we don't age as quickly.

  • Or science just gets better at giving us a better appearance. And the more they age, the further they get in their careers, the more money they make.. the more enhancements they get

They are celebrities we are talking about, not your average person

-- On a side note, Id give the D to all those girls up there

    • But most of the women I posted aren't celebs and most of them aren't making big bucks and haven't acted in years.

    • Actually 3 of the women I posted are just normal women. Not famous or anything.

    • Most look like they live a well above average lifestyle... probably using a lot of enhancements, lotions... creams.. make up... maybe injections.. who knows All are celebs but maybe the 2 sisters.. and that's like been on the net for a long time already

  • I think they might wrinkle a little less. Otherwise, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

  • There is a saying...
Black don't crack. We age better than must races, from what I have heard... lol 😂

  • I think everyone hits that peak where they look "better", but then we all know what happens at the peak... nothing but downhill. That's for everyone, but treat your body and skin right and it will do the same for you.

  • Not in my experience.

  • it's not about race, it's about dna.

  • Yeah, I've noticed this too. Even when they eat unhealthy, the skin itself looks wrinkle free.

  • i have been with many young beautiful black girls in taiwan age not important to beauty

  • depends on the woman

  • No, they cherry pick examples. Many older black women look terrible

  • No. 99% of women age like milk.

  • I guess. It's about all women. WOMEN do look sexier with the MATURITY.

  • The more melanin in your skin, the healthier it is. Hence, black don't crack

  • they look great

  • White people age like milk 🍼 😂
