Why are men frightened of periods?

It's not a case of being frightened by them. It's just a case of not finding the whole period thing to be a turn on. Blood is not a turn on to most people. I'm sure that you would pick a moment where you are not in heavy flow and that you would mitigate any risks, but still. Periods don't quite seem like an arousing thing, just as diarrhea doesn't seem like the perfect conditions for anal sex.

Frightened is completely the wrong word... is there anything about sex you don't like or don't want to do? If a guy isn't into period play respect him like you want him to respect you.
