Lesbians and bi girls only watch gay male p*rn? What is it with this weird phenomenon?

I keep reading about lesbians and bi girls who only watch gay male p*rn and about straight girls who love lesbian p*rn. Does this make sense? 1 straight girl said she watched gay p*rn and was afraid that she was in the closet. Another lesbian said that "there is nothing hotter than two hot guys going at it." Another straight girl said that she likes lesbian p*rn because "women are hotter than guys." I really don't get what's going through their heads. Does this make sense to guys or only girls?

I watch all different kinds of p*rn for various reasons. I have found some good lesbian p*rn, some turned me on, some was good but not for me.

Part of the lesbian love of guy on guy p*rn is about gender identity and straight girls like it too, mostly for the same reason.

Female sexuality is still becoming realistically represented let alone enjoyable for real women viewers.

I am cliché effeminate- short,skinny,long hair,quiet,good with kids. Before I hit puberty, I was friends with the boys and girls.We'd all act the same- ie: burp and laugh when we wanted,play 'kiss chase' and tag with all of us being the chasers or not, regardless of

'dominant gender roles'.

When puberty hits, suddenly the female body morphs while guys' just get taller.

So suddenly we're supposed to want completely different things and be almost another species.

When I watch men in the media in general, I relate to them way more in general than the women but that's media representation, not reality, and not gender confusion on my part.It's an extreme easily packaged cliché of women that the media can sell and it's slowly getting less and less clichéd but still, men are often more human in the media - rational,complicated,strong,angry,gogetters,f*ckups,funny,goofy,etc.

Women are supposed to ultimately be unattainable perfect pretty versions of a weaker aspect of even for instance 'strength' SuckerPunch and AllyMcBeal would be just two examples years apart...Anchorwomen, the First Ladies all have to stay relatively thin and wearing makeup and heels, would be another example.Weakened because :wearing heels that I'd have to take off to run properly or that even if I could run in would still slow me down or trip me up eventually and having to spend that extra money and time on makeup are both maybe fun but also put me in a weakened state compared to Doc'Martins and spending the time after my workout trading stocks instead of applying makeup.

I've 'been with' guys and girls, been the strong one and the protected one and I just think that when we are expected to become adults we are made to split all of our common traits on gender lines- men are expected to repress certain HUMAN behaviors and women others as well.Women in general wondering about sex as a guy is like guys wanting to wear women's' panties etc.It's about curiosity but also about reconnecting to our original less divided selves.

Also:

Gay women aren't worried about a guy being turned off by what they are watching or how they are presenting themselves in general which is where the 'butch' 'no fashion sense' clichés come from. So:

1) No boyfriend getting grossed out by guy on guy p*rn

2) We are curious as to why anyone would want to be with a guy and watching a girl with a guy makes us imagine ourselves as the girl which grosses US out plus we know what feels good to us and what we do to get reactions out of women so we see the fake stuff in some straight p*rn and that ruins the scenario.

EDIT:By 'skinny' I mean 'delicate'..when I work out less I actually get bulkier but keep my athletic frame and I get comments about 'looking like a dude' in various connotations.If I lose 10 pounds on my tiny frame, suddenly 'dominant' type guys and more are crawling all over me . It's one of those little-known reasons as to why women 'let themselves go'.Less delicate look means less but NOT all men stop flirting.I wish I could get taller too.Less 'cute'.Also, I HAD long hair for most of my life

Just a note, guys don't just "get taller". Our skin texture changes, just like women, our hair changes, just like women. Our body proportions change (muscle and some broadening of shoulders for a few guys), just like women. Our voices change, as do women's (women's voices become richer, not lower). And despite what women seem to think, our emotional capacity grows and increasingly complex behavior patterns emerge. It saddens me that so many women still think that boys just get taller. Adolescence is a struggle for all of us. Not just girls.

The case with lesbian women liking gay male p*rn seems to be that most lesbian p*rn is really fake and good lesbian p*rn is hard to find. The reason for straight women liking lesbian p*rn is a lot harder to pinpoint. The leading theory though is that women's sexuality seems to be a lot more gray than black or white. It doesn't mean that no women are purely hetero or homosexual, but most women seem to fall somewhere in between even if they classify themselves as one or the other. It just seems that women find women's bodies more attractive than men's, even if they are straight.

I could be very off on that one, but that seems to be the consensus from what I'm finding. : \

I honestly have no idea. The thing with the lesbians watching gay p*rn makes more sense to me because "lesbian" p*rn out there is not very good and obviously geared towards guys. The thing with straight women confuses me a lot more and the only good reason I can find for it is that they're curious. I'm not going to assert that as the reason straight women like lesbian p*rn, but it's my best guess. I'm not really into p*rn, but the gay stuff seems better because the other stuff is so fake. : \

Lesbian p*rn is more easy to find than gay p*rn, and it's not fake, what's fake about it? besides male Gay p*rn is gross and it's actually less believable, and unrealistic as well, also thinking some p*rn vid is fake is no reason to watch another Type of p*rn, you make no sense, Lesbian videos get 10x more the views gay videos do, and to be honest I doubt anyone woud watch gay vids, that's just too gross for me.

I prefer sex with women. Lesbian p*rn most easily available is really fake- with long fingernails and feigned naivite, fake poorly timed orgasms,sex acts mostly not what feels good to do between two women,often BDSM. It's maybe prejudiced on my part but: males in general are so oversexed thaI have an easier time seeing men 'go at it' because it's more believable that they enjoy it and if they don't, there's still a SLIGHTLY better chance that they feel in control so, I feel less guilty.
