  • I prefer the term FWB. I currently have one. We met at a club and I thought it was going to be just a one night stand thing. But I didn't sleep with him the night after I met him and turns out he's actually super nice and I enjoy talking to him. We went out once and hooked up on the second time we went out. That was over a year ago. We still keep in touch now. But unfortunately he lives in another city so I only get to see him every couple of months or so. We never really talk about our 'status' or what's going on between us though. I sleep with other people and I'm pretty sure he does too.

    It was more for having fun while I was not in a relationship. But less than a month after we started this thing, I met my boyfriend. I told him and he hoped I would be happy. He was genuinely a nice guy and a nice friend but it would be to weird to see him now.

    Sometimes you find the right person to be in a relationship with so a fuck buddy is a nice solution meanwhile.

  • Nah... I don't mind other people doing it but it's just for me. I enjoy the emotional aspects more than the pleasure side of sexual activity and I cannot get that from a casual friend. I also get emotionally attached easily and I don't want to share myself with someone who just views me as a hook up.

  • It is a general belief that guy are aggressive for sex and polygamy, but it is a wrong impression - in my culture and society. Girls may have strong urge for sex, but her sex is related with responsibility of producing babies. Perhaps because of this our society and religious has taught girls to keep away from sex till marriage, and being loyal to one man. Sex is not just for pleasure - it is associated with producing babies to keep life ever lasting on earth. I would say this idea ugly and sick.

    • A wrong impression? Really? Where do all those gang rapes in the news come from? And we have several kinds of birth control available today. There isn't any good reason to deny women the pleasure of sex before marriage. Not unless you're willing to give up that pleasure as well, and men generally aren't. There is a hypocrisy in telling women they can only have sex for kids and leaving men free.

  • I had one when I was a young soldier. She was an older woman, and outranked me by several grades. We gave each other something really special and when we went our separate ways at the end of our tour, there were no tears for either of us. Not everyone can be a fuck buddy without emotional difficulties though.
