So I need to know why my boyfriend started rubbing my belly back and forth while he thought I was asleep. I had fallen asleep a bit and didn't notice anything besides him laying next to me. Next thing I know he lifts my shirt and hoddie a little back and he starts rubbing my stomach and im like ok this is weird. And he keeps rubbing it then next thing i know he kisses it. Im just wondering any reason he does this?

it's a sign of affection, and also if my wife is in the mood, I can tell if she responds positively to my touch, as she has commented that she loves the way I touch her, in that I prefer caresses on her tummy, her back, her legs and her bottom, as she responds positively she will move closer to me and make little noises indicating that she likes what I'm doing and we just go from there. I don't really think it's that weird. The only time that I think you'd have to have a conversation about something like this is if he were doing something sexual (oral, penetration of any kind) while you were sleeping, because that's kind of rapey.
