My guy-friend just asked me to suck his penis, then asked me for sex. Is he trying to tell me something? Help!?

My best guy-friend was texting me earlier (he used to have feelings for me about 4 months ago and I thought they had gone) but he sent me "suck my dick? ;)" and then later on sent "fuck me ;)". Is he trying to say that he still likes me and literally wants me to do that stuff? Or is this just a bit of banter? Help me please!

  • Ya, instead of putting in the hard work to build your sexual attraction for him, he's just testing you to see if you're interested in no-strings-attached sex. It's lazy and I don't like. Not because friends with benefits is bad or wrong, but because it shows you that he cares so little about you personally that he's willing to just text you something boring.

That's not banter. Banter is funny and meaningless.

If you're super into him then run for the hills. Just ignore him and his future text's.

If you're not into him then you wouldn't be asking us what we think... this biggest mistake you make is jumping into bed with a dude you like thinking it'll make him like you back... so obviously don't do that.

It's your life and your time, don't waste it on some guy who doesn't care about you.

    • But thats where Im a bit worried. He's been my friend for quite a while and has helped me through loads, so he obviously does care... But Im just not sure if he actually likes me in that way, or just wants to be friends with benefits :/ thank you though x

    • Friends don't lazily request sex from each other unless they've already set up the relationship that way. Maybe he was texting you when he was drunk, which is gross. Or maybe he was feeling horny, which is gross. Or maybe he was just joking, which is gross. His past positive actions don't excuse his current negative actions... you can only judge him on who he's being now. If he acts like a dog then treat him like a dog... punish his bad behaviour by ignoring it, or by calling him out on it. :D

  • He's tired of playing the "wait and see" game. He is basically saying he is tired of putting forth an effort, putting so much time in, and get nothing in return. He basically told you "Put out, or get out"!

    • But we've known each other for years! He wouldn't just leave me after being my friend for so long will he? And I also kinda like him too so, I think I might go for it anyway...

  • You should just be straight forward and ask him. Don't be afraid especially in this situation, if he doesn't typically send you those types of texts even though you are best friends I think you should just be straight forward about your concerns. If your friendship is of any value it will not cause any problems between you. Just tell him you are a bit confused about it and wanted to clear things up. Try not to be mean or anything as he may genuinely still have feelings for you somewhere under there that he is trying to mask with this vulgar approach or he might have just been playing around. Either way it's better to just ask.

  • He wants to get it. Pretty simple, I mean I don't think there is much more to it.

  • He's trying to tell you he wants inside your pants.
