Vaginal itching. Mature women only. Hellpp?

Its not really vaginally. I haven't had sex in a month, we used a condom. So my labia Major is bitching. Like a rash, when you scratch to much it has those super tiny reactions when you itch. ( those skin reactions you can get on your hand no matter the gender) so they itch really bad and I think im having a rash now for scratching so much. I feel like its my hair, but I haven't had this before. This happened like 5x before and thats it. Im 19. The itch starts in the lower area of my labia major and towards the lower section heading to my ass. So a small pportion existing my labia major into my ass area. Not internally, all external. Please help, I dont have a gyno or anything. Please mature answers, thank you

I think the reason im itching is because I have my period. I use pads, and I usually only itch towards the ending of my cycle because I use pad linners. BUT sometimes I itch when I dont have my period. I shower EVERYDAY though. Even on my cycle.

Hey guys, so I took a mirror and I have a legit rash. They aren't like infection bumps but they are bumos when you see like eczema. So I out Aveeno Oatmeal bath on it in the shower and the itching stopp and the rash form is fading thank god!

  • It could be a yeast infection... but maybe not. You're 19 and you SHOULD have a gyno, or GET ONE. I'm pretty sure there is a clinic in your area that will give you a discount based on your In come. No one here can tell you exactly what it is. Thats why you need to see a doctor.

Secondly, there are kits at your local pharmacy that can let you know if you have a yeast infection or not. If I were you, I would take my energy and see a doctor instead of posting here. I can imagine that its quite uncomfortable in your current state. So... make some phone calls and see a doctor.

    • What are these kits called. I dont think I have a infection. Its not in the inside of my vagina. Just the lips thats all. And I dont even know where to begin to find a gyno.

    • Go to the local pharmacy and ask a pharmacist where the yeast infection tests are. Secondly, google your local clinic and call them and ask what options they have for low income people or people with no insurance. You're an adult now, you've got to learn how to do these things. Give updates and go to a doc asap.

  • I would suggest a trip to the GYNO, sorry. Do you shave down there? Could the itching be caused by razor bumps? I itched down there and that's what it turned out to be.

Otherwise, are you cleaning it properly? The itching could be caused by a yeast or fungal infection due to not cleaning correctly?

The GYNO can help you better, I'm afraid.

  • Try monistat it may be a yeast infection and if that doesn't work to see a gynocologist

  • Do you wear any non cotton underwear like nylon or something else? This can cause an allergic reaction. Maybe stop wearing underwear for a while if you do wear it.

    • No its not my underwear. I've been wearing the same, type of underwear for my whole life, so definitely not. Thank god.

    • ok good. I have had itching before wearing pads around the end of my cycle also and I have sensitive skin as well. Yes pads can cause some skin irritation especially if they are the Always brand. Try a more natural pad like the ones they sell at the health food stores. These will be more natural against your skin.

    • I do use alwayd. I didn't know that. Shit. I feel like my vagina now looks so ugly. Great, this sucks. Thanks though but the itching stopped! It just itched those few hrs i wore the pad. I took it off and felt way better
