Alpha males are often succesful at what they do. They have a certain importance that other people crave and admire. The fact that other guys, except for admiring them, also kinda hate them, is because they are dominant. They are the strongest, the winner and the other men will always come second. These two elements are what makes the alpha male the "ideal" man, and thus, according to Darwin, the one that needs to procreate. Women will always feel sexually attracted to them because of natural instinct: they want to carry babies with those genes, that hopefully will also become alphas. Even if today we see those women not actually want to get pregnant, they still just let them fuck them, because their instinct tells them it's the right thing to do.

    • Look at the percentage of women that have cheated, then compare it to the number of men that think (know) their woman has been unfaithful. Most women don't tell and I don't think I would either. It wouldn't do anything good.

  • I believe this came off of a blog that I once read, and it also discusses how you need to be horrible to the female in order to get what you want. Personally, he can f- the hell away from me if he thinks I'm going to be like that. They have no respect and I do feel like they'd jump from one to the next (both the "alpha" and the female).     Darwin's idea of the "alpha male" is a heirarchy which breeds tons of violence. Indeed, many chimps establish themselves as "alpha" by raping all the females to ensure they are in a state of fear, to prevent them from sleeping with other males (Despite actually WANTING to sleep with non-alphas). The alphas then kill all the infants to assure the next generation of progeny are his own. They have violent sex, most of which is rape.

    This is that "alpha male" structure people seem to admire so much. Chimps also lack a gene for empathy that exists in both humans and bonobos.

    Bonobos have the most human-like sex in the entire animal kingdom. Homosexual sex, blowjobs, hand jobs, anal sex, tongue kissing, and are the only primates besides us who have face-to-face sex. They have empathic abilities that were originally thought to be unique to humans.

Bonobos stayed peaceful by remaining in lush lands south of the Congo, the chimps became violent from scarce conditions north of the congo, and humans' larger brains came from growing cooperation to the point of spoken language, thanks to our nomadic nature.

    Supposedly, it was agriculture that reintroduced heirarchy. The same thing that kept women as second-class citizens for millenea.

As for gender roles and hierarchy, why do you think the male human evolved to have a much higher capacity to gain muscle, be stronger pound for pound, be physically. larger generally, and have denser bone structure? How can gender roles be explained entirely through agriculture?

  • I've heard a lot about this "alpha" male thing, on here and no matter how many times I here about it, I still can't seem to care. I mean, this take is a real poor depiction of men and women. It's still engraved in us (like many things), whether we admit it or not, but because we're emotionally intelligent, we know these alpha males aren't really good boyfriend/husband material so women are happy with and often go for the males who aren't these alphas that want to spread their genes, because they know that beta males are more into monogamy when we're actually meant to be polygamous, which are what alpha males are, in any species. Women want monogamy.

    • Bro... I am going to have to disagree with you on that. Although I am sure pheromones play some role, its not what gets them into your bed. I do gym, always. Squats and deadlifts weekly (that naturally increases testosterone), I do boxing, then I am on testosterone boosters with the rest of my supplements.
