How many of you ladies took your own virginity?

now that I have your attention, when i say virginity, I basically mean, stretched yourself and popped your own cherry. I just wanted to take a poll, how many of you went to the store, bought a dildo and did the deed yourself? why did you do this? (for those wondering, I bought several dildos ranging from only slightly bigger then a super sized tampon, to a dildo with about 2" wide, which is slightly above average, I used them one at a time, got used to them stretching me and moved on to a bigger size once I could use it without pain. I can now take the biggest one I have, which is slightly wider and bigger then a normal sized penis, so I, in my opinion, took my own virginity.)

  • I haven't done it yet, but I plan to do it these days. I have also googled sth like this because I was wandering why girls don't do it before having sex for the first time. This is the first question I read about this topic.
    I have to control everything and I am a perfectionst, so I will try to avoid a bad first experience.
    People say that you have to do it with someone you love, but it hasn't happen to me for years (I'm 20), it will not happen to me.
    I really don't understand why girls don't do this, it's just a practical, "technical" thing, so the guy would have to deal with her blood, pain. And I want to separate pain, blood from the first time being naked with a guy, which both would contribute to a bad first experience.
    However, while googling something like this to see if other girls have done it, I felt a bad emotion. Did you ever feel bad when you thought of doing it or after?

    • I did it to minimize pain. my opinion on the matter will be biased because i have been in love, and lost him. So I decided, all the things I had once believed about sex and love is false. why must we women make ourselves suffer for someone else? sex should be fun for us too, right? As far as feeling bad about it, I didn't feel bad before, during or after I used those dildos. But I did feel bad after having sex with a guy for the first time (which I did after I used those toys) This world is full of selfish people, and the only one who will look after your interests is you. do what is right for you, because no one else will. and if they do, it won't be for long. my advice to you is to do what you think is right. If you're ready to do something like this then don't let anything stop you. But you have to know for sure if you are ready to lose that part of you.

  • I never counted that as taking my own virginity since it wasn't a real penis inside me. I used a plastic plunger (it was brand new, shaped like a penis, and I disinfected it before using) and I used it. It didn't really break my hymen though b/c when I had sex w/ my bf for the first time, I was in pain and bleeding everywhere. When I used the plunger, it hurt but it was like putting in a tampon, it didn't stretch out my hymen and break it like a real penis did.

    But I used the plunger as I fingered myself b/c it stopped me from cumming and peeing everywhere. I also used an old electric toothbrush or a massage shower head to masturbate too.

    but if you consider virginity as ending once you have sex, and you consider using those larger dildos as "having sex" then sure, you took your own virginity.

    I think it's awesome that you're so comfortable with your own sexuality and that you're willing to experiment with different dildos. A lot of girls don't even own one!

  • In my opinion you can't take your own virginity. Only someone else can do it. That's like guys saying that they've lost their virginity to their hand, or a fleshlight.

  • As a guy, I think it's fascinating what you did, and I've often wondered why more girls don't do this (if they don't). (Whether or not you took your own virginity is another issue, which I'm not interested in.) I've often wondered why girls don't take some of the anxiety out of their "first time" by doing exactly what you did. As you were going through the progressively larger dildoes, did you ever experience any real pain?

    • Well.. Tad.. for many of us... we lose our virginity before we're old enough to enter a sex store to buy a dildo...

Mostly I felt a burning sensation, but if it ever became unbearable I would downsize and try again later. i think what I did is ideal compared to jumping right into it and taking a real one that you might not be ready for. why go through the pain when you don't have to? thanks for your feedback! much appreciated

  • I understand the idea behind doing this but I wish girls would not do this. Its going to hurt a little either way but minimally if its done right. Let the guy you truly love take your vcard. Hopefully he is a virgin too and you can give that gift to each other. Its a very special thing to a guy. Maybe not to all but most.

    • I guess my point of view is this, sex for a girl, most girls, no matter how you do it, is going to hurt. a lot. for me, having control over it so I didn't feel pain as much helped me a lot. although it may be special for some, I don't think sex is all that big of a deal. being a virgin is a state of mind. as is being in love.

    • I see your point and I wasn't saying it is wrong or anything just that if I had a gf that was a virgin, I would hope she wouldn't have done that. Technically she is a virgin though even if her hymen as been torn. I also know that 50% of women by the time they are 20 years old and a virgin, have already tore their hymen by sports, etc.

    • yes I agree with that. you're right, a large majority of women do lose their hymens because of normal day to day activities, like sports, riding horses, etc. however, that is only one part of being ready for penetration. The tough part (for me at least) was the stretching. anyways, I respect your opinion and I appreciate your feedback! you seem like a good guy with a level head on his shoulders.

    • 1. I didn't necessarily want bigger then average. :P when I went shopping for my toys I picked this one up thinking it would be average. (it was in a package so it was hard to tell how big it would be) and when I opened it i realized just how big it was. I didn't want to return it (because that would be kinda gross I think) so I decided to add it to my collection and at least try it out. 2.
