Small labia minora, clamshell, small to medium lips...?

Okay, this is almost a rant. I am so sick of reading about how small labia minora compares to large labia. People are so quick to say ignorant rude things about small lips like.. they are under developed/prepubescent or that men who like them must want child like puss, they taste different (really?), girls with small lips don't orgasm as much or are harder to please. Is this serious? Like do people not understand the science? This really annoys me. This is untrue. We get it, men love big dangly lips. If anyone said anything about big lips it would be so offensive, but everyone talks about how small or medium ones are gross. I refuse to feel inadequate for having medium sized labia that doesn't stick out and I sure as hell am not stretching mine out. Please do some research before posting your ridiculous comments. Literally posting this so other women who are googling the same thing I was will know that this is not true and you aren't alone. Also I would be considered "bisexual" and I'd prefer them to be smaller, you're beautiful ;) Just aggravated by my findings, carry on :)

If you browse questions on this site long enough you'll eventually find plenty of girls worried that their large labia might be unattractive, stating that men idealize "innies" (usually noting their prevalence in porn) and detest "outies" and plenty of guys who make unbelievably callous and rude comments about "beef curtains" to confirm their worries.

My point is that there really is no consensus on this stuff - even if it seems so. Just when you think that the social taboo on long labia is universal, you find for some it seems the other way around. And is that not the nature of our culture? On one hand we know in the back of our minds that there are immense variations in the appearance of the human body and yet on the other hand we can't help but think that our bodies are unsightly and unacceptable to the majority of people. Everyone is in a perpetual state of anxiety that they're not "normal" and it's not healthy.

Those aren't photoshopped, p*rno vulvas. They're photos of vulvas sent in from girls and women around the world and you can see the wide variations in appearance and it's very natural and tasteful. That's what the female genitalia really looks like. They come in all shapes and sizes.

And personally, that makes me very happy. I'm grateful for "innies" and "outies" and everything in between. I love the variety. Each has it's own unique charm and beauty. It would be ridiculous to say that one is better than the other. You don't have to cut down one because you like the other. They aren't meant to be ranked or ordered but admired for what they are.

I wish we didn't have to deal with that. Vulvas are beautiful things and girls should be very proud of theirs.

You will hear all kinds of crap about larger lips too. I just answered a question like that and the asker and I are commenting back and forth right now. She has the opposite problem. People are dicks over the internet especially to girls. Unfortunately the internet is just as immature and misogynistic as the real world so there is a lot of that stuff, especially directed at women. It's easy to say but you just have to disregard it and move on. I know it's frustrating but they don't deserve to ruin your life or even your day. You have to be the bigger person here.

Okay? I didn't realize it was that big of a deal. Then again, I've never cared about what other people thought about my body. I have small boobs and a smallish vagina and I am not ashamed of that. Everyone is different and that's okay. Who cares what anyone else thinks about you or a part of your body? Their opinion isn't going to change how you're built so might as well not bother getting so upset about it...

its all personal preference... i find it woeful that people judge girls for having one or the other and judge other guys for liking one or the other. i mean where is the problem?
