Emberassed about my "bulge". Do girls care?

I'll begin by saying that I'm not one of those losers here to brag, I have a serious question. My penis is on the large side (I'll spare you the details) but I never feel like "showing it off". In fact I go out of my way to hide it when I change etc. ANYWAY my problem is that I recently bought a wetsuit because I freeze whenever during my swim training @ the pool since I'm in for hours. BUT it really looks like I have an boner, even though I'm not aroused or anything... It's co-ed so I'm around girls and sometimes (even my instructor O_O) I catch them looking at it and I feel SO embarrassed and like a perv. I don't want them to think I'm walking around with a hard on. I wear a medium (I'm 130 pounds) and large is way too big. I can't hide it because the wetsuits have to be tight. -SO my question is would you girls look too? Try to ignore it? And would you be insulted or something else? How do you normally react when you see a bulge at the pool/elsewhere? -and if any guys are reading this do you feel embarrassed too or am I crazy?

  • everyone worries about their bodies at times, don't they...I guess it would catch your eye.. so I would probably have a sneaky look but try and then ignore it...I would definitely not feel insulted...why? girls might even enjoy a sneaky peak...I know I would...

    I don't think if you act normally...ie. you pursue your swimming and training etc...and walk normally round the place anyone would think much of it...I guess it would be different if you were showing off..or stuff like that...then they might think you're up to something and might feel put off!

    just have a nice smile on your face...as girls will check out all the guys at the pool! (well I do anyways...)

  • I agree with a lot of what mouse26 said. I would probably take a few looks, but I wouldn't feel insulted or anything. Its not something you can control. I could see why you would feel embarrassed, but hey, it happens. I would sneak a few looks then honestly speaking, I would probably just forget about it. Given the way you describe yourself, you don't seem like the person to go around strutting their stuff ha, so I'm sure the people who know you don't think of it that way. Your fine, really. Some girls may even be turned on by that! Others may find it funny, but I doubt any girls are getting insulted by it.

    • Thanks for your input, it put my mind at ease. its there... and every guy has one. no big deal (no pun intended :P). I have trouble with the fact that I'm exposing myself to my female friends though. Why would girls find it funny exactly?

  • well, actually, you might think of it as embarrassing and all and sure, looks from people are expected but its normal really. I mean imagine if you saw a girl wearing a swimsuit with her nipples visible. you would look as well right? so its pretty unavoidable and normal. anyways, if you do see people look or laugh at you or whatever, just ignore them. who knows...they could be laughing and giggling on the outside when in the inside, they're really turned on..LOL.. I know id be.. haha

    • That's totally true. in fact that happened today, this one girl had her shirt on over top her her nips were sticking way out. you really can't help but look. I had heard that girls are offended by it so it's good to hear that some are turned on LMAO. but if you see a girls nipples protruding she doesn't seem like a creep, whereas a guy who looks like he's boned does.

  • I think you're way overthinking things. Everywhere you turn, you'll have someone that has some beef (no pun intended) with some random issue. For example, people's nipples can get hard when they're turned on. So if your nipples stand at attention at the pool are you going to freak out that some random chick is going to think you're a perv? Just go with flow. Its probably more creepy to people if they perceive that your so self conscious about things that, in the grand scheme of things, aren't that important.

    Also, if some chick is at the pool with her boobs hanging out and her ass swallowing up a G-string, why is she not perving out while you're there with a completely concealed non-boner? Relax and stop over-analyzing. You'll live a much happier life that way.
