Asking my girlfriend to tie me up

I've been going out with my girlfriend for about 3 months now and we have a pretty good relationship. The sex is good and there's lots of passion between us. I've been meaning to introduce bondage into our fun times. I'm thinking that I should just ask her to tie me up. I have a few questions for you girls... 1) What is the best approach? 2) How likely is she to respond positively to this. Would you tie up your boyfriend if he asked you to? 3) She's horrible at knots and with rope. I've seen her fumbling with it on packages. What are other ways she might be able to keep me bound?

do you just wanna try bondage or do you actually wanna be tied up cos usually the girl is the one who gets tied up, my girlfriend loves bondage but only tying up and grabbing her neck lol not hard or suffocation, just tight grip lol, just ask her casually as you're making out and it's leading somewhere, "what would you do if I tied you up?" or "what would you do if I said I'd let you tie me up and do whatever you want with me?" go from there

  Ive only tied up one woman...on the other hand, I can't begin to count the amount of guys I've strung up ;) So its not usually the girl...its just more mainstream I guess. The lead in of giving her the freedom to do anything she wants if she ties him up is excellent though...Interestingly enough, that's exactly how I got my start. When I started, I was *horrible* at tying knots...but after the guy escaped my knots enough times...I got a book about making knots for sailing and I learned ;)

  Just cos you being one person who has tied up many guys it doesn't mean that you're not unusual :P nothing wrong with it but just because you're in the minority doesn't change a thing, usually it's the girl who's tied. Haha I'm still awful at knots too so just hold her hands up abover her head and she says it's maybe better cos she likes me dominating her lol

  I was introduced to bondage by my ex gf. She was more into tying me up than the other way around, but I enjoyed both. I find it fun to be at the mercy of a girl that knows what she's doing. It's actually liberating to be able to let somebody take control and do what they wish as long as I can trust them.

  I feel you curiousgeorge... the whole freedom through bondage thing...a cliche saying ( in some circles) but its true...especially it seems for men whose jobs have them in charge, to be able to let go and be at the mercy of another for a change. I hope it works out for you and your girlfriend is open to giving it a shot =) beautifulboy...you missed where I said I suppose the girl being tied up is more mainstream. All the same, I'm not as unusual as you think. You'll learn...its a big world out there.

  Oh, it's so true... I'm comfortable being in charge on a daily basis, but when I'm home, it feels so good to let go completely and to be in a situation where I have no choice but to comply. It's almost therapeutic while still being extremely sexual. I love the feeling of helplessness and suffering for the ones I love. On another note, would you have any tips for my girlfriend who is terrible at knots? She's competitive like me and doesn't like to lose. She would hate it if I got out of my bonds.

  Curiousgeorge, I don't know what you have or planning to use, but Id suggest going to home depot, and getting a few yards of soft nylon rope cut.. *actually, much of what I have I got from there...!* Its easy to tie and to untie, but hard to get out of plus its gentle on the skin. For techniques, I got a book and practiced sailors knots (she can use google) BTW she'll never learn if you don't try to escape...you can have fun with it and itll challenge her to do better knots you can't get out of!

The best approach is to be honest... so she can give you an honest answer herself.

Her responding positively depends on her personality... yes I would tie him up if he asked.

Maybe handcuffs would work =]

  I planned to be honest, but that first step is always a little hard to take just in case she freaks out or thinks I'm too weird for her. Since her knots are so bad, I'm thinking of trying handcuffs or maybe just handing over a roll or duct tape to her. :)
