Freaky you ask this!!! I have always thought this since the first time I masturbated!!! I am not religious at all, but I do believe, (in a funny way), that there is some kind of divine power that punishes me when I jerk off, LOL! In know in my mind it is complete coincident, but in my heart and soul, I really have to wonder sometimes!!! My parents really aren't religious either, but sex was always taught to us by my mom that it is a dirty and sick thing. I think she taught us this more to protect us by scaring us. But, for sure, masturbating was something a pervert did. I went to a Catholic school and I remember a bible story of how god commanded this guy to impregnate this woman because their child would be significant somehow. The guy was having sex and chickened out and let his sperm spill on the ground. This anger god and he made the man blind or something. Again, I know this is a stupid story, but it kind of freaked me out because they said sperm is only for creating life and it is not to be wasted. If you waste it, you will be punished! LOL! But it just seemed if I went 2 or 3 weeks without jerking off, my life was perfect. Then I would masturbate and within hours I have a huge fight at home, or a really bad day at school or work, right out of nowhere!!! This happen many, many times! Seems too much like a coincident to me! To this day, I never jerk off during the work week for fear of a bad day at work. Never jerk off before I have to drive anywhere for fear of being in an accident. I find if I shower after masturbating, that lifts the "curse", or if 24 hours pass. I know this is really stupid, but it is just how I feel.
i dont find it stupid at all.. well a bit funny yes but not stupid. i asked this question because.. ok some occasions may be coincidences but it happened 12 times since july.. yes i have masturbated just 12 times in 2 months. i dont know i just think its too much for me to always be a coincidence!!! 2 of these times i had serious fights with my gf.. luckily i know how to control that... but im really afraid
I think ultimately what is it, after we masturbate we are in a different frame of mind. I know sometimes I am more edgy because I know I just did something "dirty" and I feel guilty because of it. So I may say or do things that I normally wouldn't which can lead to fights or whatever. One way or other, I know it is just in our heads, but hard to come to terms with.

Coincidences. They are not connected at all. Of course what you might be doing is a self fulfilling prophecy, where you essentially make something up and then it becomes true. Stop thinking that way. Masturbation is healthy. Instead I challenge you to think that every time you masturbate, something good will happen. don't expect it to, but just think of it the opposite way, you'll find things will fall into place.
