Is being asexual good or bad?

So I'm asexual and what do you guys think, is it good or bad?

It's neither good nor bad, just like all the
other sexualities is neither good nor bad.

But I guess one could say that it's
good, rather than bad. ^.~

Some people may think of it as bad, most likely
because they associate asexual in relationships
equaling no sex at all, which may be right in some
cases, but the majority of asexuals still like to please
their partner, so it's not a bad thing.

Also, being asexual means you can focus on more
important stuff, like a life goal and such, without the distractions
of lusting after someone. ^.^

I enjoy my asexuality. But everyone should be happy with their sexual orientation. It is not like you can help it, anymore than you could change your race, nationality or your sex (well at brith sex anyway)

How long have you had the term asexual to identify with? Have you explored AVEN?

neither. it is your nature, embrace it. though did you see any specialist for it? you should be made sure that you are an asexual first. and that is either by considering it in DSM as a disorder, or seeing the lack of sexual desire does not have only a psychological basis.
and then you need neither a psychologist nor a psychiatrist. just some asexual friends and maybe a good advisor to not get confused in matters such as relationship.

It's neutral. Sexuality just *is.* There aren't any inherent value judgments attached to any of them. If pressed between "positive" or "negative", I guess I would have to choose positive because it certainly isn't a bad thing.

Out of being sexual and asexual, none is better. Admitidly I'd rather be sexual than asexual since only like 5% is asexual but yea, they're both equal.
