Anyway, personally, I am not a parent yet but I think that since she is 16 and if you really don't want her to get her "down there" pierced, then you tell her. You're her dad and you're supposed to support her but you should never spoil her. If she really wants it then she has to wait until she is 18 and becomes a full-flown adult who will make choices of her own and will have to deal with the consequences of her choices then. Now, when she is 16, she needs your input, opinion and guidance. I don't think she is ready to understand and face the consequence of having that part of her body pierced.

well if you are her dad and she is under age, then I would tell her NO. Wait till she is 18 and she can make her own choices without you being there. I wouldn't feel too comfortable going with my daughter if I were a dad. I am super close to my dad also, but would never ask him to go with for something like that.
