Last year I was with a girl that was cheating on her boyfriend with me. The catch is he was cheating on her too but she didn't know it. Anyway we both fell in love with each other and one night we were fooling around non of us thought anything would happen but somehow we were unprotected. Anyway about ten days later I got a really bad infection and even had to go to the ER to get a shot because it hurt so bad. I got some antibiotics and then had to get tested a couple of months later but thankfully I got treated. But the problem was this was on my birthday and I knew she had a gynecologists appointment that very day so I had to tell her in person so that she could get treated too. So I meat up with her and was really afraid how she would take it but the only person I could have gotten an std from was her because she was the only one I was with. Well she was really grateful that I told her and was really angry at her boyfriend that he didn't tell her. But in the and a couple of months later she still dumped me and chose to stay with him even though she said I was the most important person in her life and that she had never fallen in love with anybody as much as with me.
Now at least I know that I will never have unprotected sex with a girl until I know that everything is ok after a couple of months. But the main thing is whenever you learn that you've contracted an std you should always no matter what happened tell you previous partner or current if it happened in the time frame because sometimes they don't know and they'll just keep spreading it around and that's not good anyway you look at it.
I would likely resent her for a while, then I would feel sorry for myself. It would make it almost impossible for me to find anyone else so I would feel stuck with her. I would have it in the back of my mind, no one else will ever want me, because I am tainted. I would be more afraid to fight with her, or leave if she mistreated me for fear of ending up alone for the rest of my life.

this can happen to anyone. the guy that gave her the virus maybe didn't knew about it either or lied about it. it's both peoples fault to not protect. in the end, you're in the same boat i guess.
