What should I (or you) do after giving my (or your) boyfriend a blowjob?

My boyfriend always wants to come inside my mouth, and I don't mind at all. But I want to be safe and clean because I don't want to get infected and/or get him infected also. Therefore, please tell me what should I do? I usually swallowed his semen (80% of time) and sometimes I spitted out in the toilet or on a paper towel. Then I washed my mouth with hot (medium hot) water. When I got home I brushed my teeth and tongue. I just want to know what other advice do you girls have.

  • If he has stds, I'm not sure any of these things will help. If he doesn't have stds, then none of these things are necessary.
I like it best when a girl doesn't try to swallow, or even keep it in at all. Just lets it fall out
I feel productive and I feel like it makes her that much more accomplished

  • Unless your BF has an STD or something, you are good to swallow anytime.
you already have swallowed, so if he had anything, you have it now, and no amount of brushing is going to change that.

    • My boyfriend has tested for STD and HIV, and he both test are negative. I have not had any test done because I never had sex intercourse (I'm still a virgin). All I have done is giving him a blow job (my first time giving a blow job in my life). Do you think I should go get an STD test?

    • Testing is recommended in many cases, but you should be ok. He tested ok, and you didn't do anybody prior, so no infection should be present. You are in a good position to just enjoy the sex and not to worry.

    • Thanks. :) I will enjoy sex but not now; not with a boyfriend... only with a husband. Just personal preference. :) Again, thanks.

  • What are you afraid of being infected? What kind of infection?

  • overthinking it way too much...

    • it has to do with the lack of experience - on the other hand, some people with too much experience think too little...

  • Semen is actually very good for your health! So, it's quite fine if you don't clean up after.

  • All of the stuff you just listed does next to nothing to prevent the spread of STI/STDs. There are forms of protection that you can use for oral sex. They sell condoms, and even flavored condoms for use during oral sex. You may also want to both get tested but thats your prerogative. Also just for your edification, as far as oral sex protection when he goes down on you (some diseases can be transmitted that way) I would recommend a dental dam. It just looks like a sheet of plastic.

  • Look, I am no doctor, so take my advice as my personal knowledge, but on your own responsibility. Saying that, I must admit I am experienced and well informed.

Oral sex is probable the safest sex practice there is (but that doesn't mean it is risk free). Saliva is very efficient killing most germs, even virii such as HIV.

Once you have engaged into oral sex, I believe it makes no difference on wethere you swallow or not. Beware the acids in the digestive system anyway will kill anything that goes through, but STDs usually pass through little wounds you might have in your mouth and your partner might have in his genitals (and still, remember that saliva is an antiseptic). Something that you can contract through oral sex are certain types of herpes (which are usually visible to the naked eye), which again have nothing to do with swallowing.

Remember, I am not a doctor.

    • by the way, if you are certain you are in a monogamous relationship, try to relax and just enjoy the sex! This is like if you were walking down the street being afraid if a piano might fall over your head (an exaggerated analogy, but you get my point)
