Why do I smell bad down there?

I don't know what's going on, but for the last 2-3 weeks, I haven't been smelling that good down there. I shower EVERY day, sometimes even twice. I don't sweat too much, and when I'm at home I don't even wear underwear, so it rarely sweats. I've been looking for some infection, but haven't seen anything weird. It can't be any STD because I haven't had any sexual encounter for the last 8 months or so :( I don't understand why it's having a bad odor, it has never been like that. I keep showering, but 4 hours later it starts smelling again. It's not like a huge smell that I can smell it with my pants on, but it's noticeable if you get close to it. Why is this, and what can I do? It's about to be Christmas, and there may be some sex coming up, so I don't want to turn any girls away because of that. Thanks.

Do you think the diet affects this? I know it affects for women, but since a vagina is not the same as a penis, I don't know if the diet affects too.

  • The real question is whether you went to bed after having just masturbated but washing your penis only once. If you literally don't masturbate or anything and you take a long bath and you STILL get a bad smell even if you use toilet paper to remove pee and stuff in like 3 hours, then you really ought to see a doctor.

    • That's the problem, that I take a shower, clean it with soap, and 3-4 hours later I get the smell back. I'm trying to avoid the doctor, but I guess if it keeps going I'll have to go. Thanks for commenting.

  • Maybe you don't clean well. Grab a small towel and then get some anti bacteria soap, then scrub them like there's no tomorrow.

    • I've always cleaned the same way in my 19 years and never had a problem until now. I even press harder, keep using soap, but the smell comes back pretty soon.
