Labia plasty,Is It A Good Idea? What Is It Like? Any Experiences?

So,I'm 18 and a virgin.I've always been self conscious about how I looked "down there" I've noticed I don't look like the girls in the videos,i've asked my gynecologist and she says I'm healthy and "normal" and there's nothing wrong with me down there,but I've always found the way I look down there unattractive.It's nothing extreme,like nothing is sagging or hanging or anything weird like that(no offense).It's just,i hate wearing bathing suits or shorts,cause it isn't really my labia but I guess you could consider the area,um,this is a stupid word to describe it but "plump".And if I wear thongs/g-strings,bathing suits,short shorts,i guess that area,"sticks out" and that area isn't like the girls in the videos.So I'm considering labia plasty,and wondering about past experiences with it and what it's like and if it's worth it?

Well as long as you are not intimidated by the medical community, you go to the groinocologist, and you don't seem bothered by the thought of surgery,why don't you first give a good psychologist a shot at you. You have been examined and deemed normal by a professional box doctor, so can you entertain the thought that in reality the problem is more between your ears than between your thighs?

Yes, I would. I would be the first one telling you to forget about that silly idea. There is absolutely no reason any girl needs bigger t*ts. the only surgical modification of a females breasts that I have ever suggested, was breast reduction, and that is because of the myriad health problems that can often accompany large breasts. Pick the answer you like, I really don't care. My advice is for those wise enough to understand it and use it for their benefit.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with your vagina and actually if you were asking about breast implants, I would say the exact same thing too. learn to accept who you are, not who you think you want to be. you don't need a plastic surgeon or anyone else messing around down there, find a good guy and learn to be comfortable.

I'm against unnecessary surgery, especially for reasons that could be fixed with some therapy. This is not a BS answer. You're having some body image issues that a good psychologist could really help you with. And if you are worried about it showing when wearing certain things, don't wear them. I'm sure you can find a bathing suit that covers the area and try some longer shorts.

I am also a female. I’m 26. I feel insecure about the way I look down there so much that it affects whether or not I engage in sexual acts. I’m sure part of the trauma comes from an abusive relationship I was in. I was pretty much physically attacked. Also verbally dragged. Through humiliation. I fear I won’t get into another relationship due to this insecurity amongst others.

Yeah, plastic surgery exists for a reason, and that reason is so people can get rich off of other people's insecurities. There are several people in my family considering/going through with plastic surgery right now, matter of fact. Started out they wanted their eyes tightened, then they all of a sudden wanted a facelift too, even though the doctors said it was unnecessary, then they both decided, f*** it, we'll get boob jobs too, I want nicer boobs. I never heard such shallow sh*t in my life.
