New average penis study- anyone else surprised?

A new average penis study was released today. It was a research study combining 17 published penis studies to arrive at a single average number. The 17 different studies totaled to about 15 000 men. The research study combined all 17 studies (composed of 15 000 men) to arrive at the average. 

The average erect length was found to be 5.2 inches, and the average erect girth was found to be 4.6 inches.

I'm kind of surprised, as most women would probably consider that 'small', yet it's the average.

Anyone else surprised?

It's pretty similar to the studies (see below) that I show guys whenever I see a penis size question, so it's not surprising to me. Although I agree that girls seems to say a lot of average dicks are small and I can never tell if they are serious or facetious or trying to be mean... and all it takes a few bad comments here or there to make a guy stress about it.

If you're >5.5 inches in length and >4.7 in girth then you probably shouldn't feel bad about your size.

Erect circumference was around 12 centimeters (4.7 inches).

Ya me too. My theory is that guys probably dont get their full boner in the environment the test is in, because the results always seem so much lower than what seems possible. I have measured myself before, and it took a lot of time and work to get that last inch to come out, and I could definitely see myself being measured a bit smaller than I really am if their is some doctor sitting there with a ruler just watching me jack off waiting to measure me. And it seems likely that many guys would not be able to get even within an inch of their full size. If you assume that the average size for the pool of men who took it was really 5.75, and the average man in the survey last.5in due to nervousness or being uncomfortable then you could easily end up with the number they came up with.
Or maybe, it really is just 5.2. I don't know

No that's about right. It's actually most guys who think that that is small. Comes from comparing yourself to p*rn. Guys in the flicks are all big, makes most guys think that they are small.

Just to throw that out there, most women when they start saying how long a guy's dick is ("my last was 7 inches") are over-guessing the size. They didn't use a ruler, first of all, this is documented, second, and third, they're influenced by the guy's perception of his size. The average size is just that, average, and that's what most people have and what most women deal with, whether or not they're perception of it is accurate.
