Just seriously I don't get it. I mean it's not even real blood that is coming out. But I will say it's funny watching a guy get a horrifying look on his face or something if you talk about it. :D but still seriously why does it gross some men out?

The paper towel does not matter, the time does. and your period blood that is brown has turned old, while the red is still rather fresh. And if you set it aside and wait a while it WILL turn brown.
