Is it okay if I ask my girlfriend about her period?

I think the question is fairly self-explanatory; however, I have some decent reasoning behind it. It has absolutely nothing to do with sexuality as I'm a very respectful guy, but I want to know so that if she is on her period, I can be even more understanding of emotions because I realize not everything is totally under control. So to cut to the chase, is this a reasonable question or is this just too personal? Oh, and to give some background, we've been dating a little over six months and we're extremely close right now. She's incredible. :)

It should be totally fine, I've never gotten why girls say they don't want their guy asking about their period, it's usually good when he knows, because he'll be more sensitive. It's not that personal of a question, I wouldn't say so at least. Most of us like having someone to complain to about it anyways :P It's totally a question a good boyfriend can/should ask ;)

Well I think girls don't like it when you ask them its probably when you ask them when they are PMSing and when they are PMSing they get even more irritated but I just know so I know how to act and what to say when she is on her period

i don't see the shame in it, I mean I always told my boyfriend when I was on mine so that, he didn't think I was acting different for some reason, and we were dating for about 6 months. so I don't think she should mind, it not really that big of a deal. I personally think it would be good in a relationship for the guy to know .

ya its no big deal I always tell my boyfriend when I'm having my peroid just for a couple of reasons and I don't care if he's grossed out or not its just a part of life.

I think that any smart guy can just assume that chicks are nuts! every one of them! However most of them have redeeming quality's, so I would say just be nice and understanding all the time. Then there is no worry as to whether or not she has legitimate reasons for her craziness lol

Yes, on some condition's. 1 - She has to trust you alot. 2 - She feel's comfortable around you.

So it should be fine, My girlfriend tell's me when she has it, why not be able to ask ya know?
