The inside of the foreskin is a mucous membrane like the inside of the vagina and like the vagina it produces a natural moisture that moistens the glans and keep it from keratinizing. And like the vagina it has it's own distinct, musky sort of smell. It's perfectly natural. It's not something you can really completely get rid of, nor is it healthy to try.
