What do guys think when a girl shaves and there is ingrown hairs and razor bumps?

I wax and get ingrowns and I pop them, do guys get grossed out when they see them? or should I just leave the hair alone?

Ingrown hairs: Do not pick at them as this could cause infection. To prevent ingrown hairs, shave downward with the angle of the hair, or clip hairs instead of shaving. Also, some creams can help exfoliate the skin and relieve ingrown hairs. Check with your medical provider about these topical treatments.

I copied this off a website with a quick search for how to properly shave public hair. I'd heard that shaving with a clean and sharp razor helps this as well...but shaving in the direction the hair grows should really minimize this...

Just keep it clean for the boys...

You get ingrowns from waxing? I thought that only happens when you shave. you should see a dermatologist; they can give you good tips on hair removal. I shave, and I use conditioner instead of shaving cream because my doctor says it irritates the skin less.

I no longer think anything about it.  Since I can't feel a woman's boobs on my chest from so much hair on it (having a hairy chest is no advantage) I've been shaving and/or using depilatory to remove my chest as well as pubic hair.  On my chest the creme removes the hair but leaves bumps all over me.  I now completely understand.

I do think it's kind of gross looking, but at the same time it's pretty normal and expected. I don't let it deter me from doing anything, I just ignore it and move on. It's not your fault and I prefer shaved over hairy.

It wouldn't gross me out, but I would worry about her comfort. I would tell her that in the future, she wouldn't have to shave quite so close, that she can leave a quarter or an eighth of an inch.
