  • TBH you probably already broke it. If you have ever fallen on your butt really hard, or been in an accident. Any severe trauma to that end of the body can break it. But that is the least of your worries. You should go just to make sure your lady bits are in order. Even if you haven't had sex, you still are at risk for other things that happen to a woman like cervical cancer, or tilted uterus, or any number of other things. I had an abnormal cell buildup when I was 19 and had to have my cervix frozen so that it wouldn't turn into cancer. Better to be safe then sorry, that is why its called preventative care :-)

  • You should go, because every woman get a vaginal infection, no matter whether you're a virgin or not. Also, your hymen won't break, no one's does:

  • does your doctor know that you're a virgin? and what is the reason why you will undergo pap? is it for cervical ca screening or?

  • Its a normal procedure having a broken hymen doesn't mean you are not a virgin, that can happen from something as simple as riding horses to much or getting rowdy (nonsexual) in general. pap smears are the best indicators of things you may want to be aware of such as healthy development and status of your lady bits fertility and so forth.

  • Yeah it's safe to go when my third cousin went on birth control
she had have a complete gynecologist examine at age 14
my mom (late) knew she was going be sexual active so she
didn't want her to get pregnant and my mom made the right choice.

  • It won't hurt. My first gyno was as a virgin. Its always good. to get a clean bill of health.

  • If your hymen did break, that doesn't mean you aren't a virgin anymore. It is no problem. Go with what your doctor says.

  • You hymen is likely already broken. If your doctor thinks you should don't think the logical thing to do is go do it?

  • Your health is more important - Guys know it is possible to be a virgin with a broken hymen.

  • Tampons didn't break it?

  • You're not very old and you're a virgin, unless you're having problems I don't see a reason to go.

  • Just tell him you are a virgin, ask to check your hymen and if it's not broken, say you want to keep it.
