Guys why might you stop kissing on the lips?

I keep thinking of the scene from pretty woman... Julia Roberts confides in richard gears,she never kisses on the lips - unless she is in love. Well I was with someone who I have a sort of mutually special relationship - well so I thought ... I am leaving soon so I cannot get involved long term. Anyways we ended up getting physical and we started off kissing, but when we went into the next room, he did not kiss my lips again. Why might you stop kissing someone. Would you feel you did not want things to get too intimate. Would you do it in order to imagine someone else or just make the person non specific. Would you stop because you wanted things to become rougher. I was just wondering why the sudden change. We were kissing fine just before that.

I'm gonna have to agree with Alan here. He probably had a different take on the situation than what you thought.

Since you're leaving soon and nothing can happen between you guys, I would say that it's not even worth worrying about. If it turns out that it was just some bad move that he made, he will for sure contact you again soon.

It was crazy because just a couple days before we were totally kissing... That night we started off kissing, once we were getting closer to sex he stopped kissing me on the mouth - we did not end up having sex because it felt like he was mad at me so I stopped it. We ended up sleeping together - sleeping - and he told me he had feelings for me but he seemed so angry like he wanted revenge or something?

I don't have a lot of time to write something sensible but I wanted to get something off. Yea, anger can spoil the moment. You can try to take it but kissing is far too personal. You talking of break up or leaving on a trip, a period of time? Seems from I can gather he is into. I had this experience once. She said he might have to go, and I was p*ssed, finally I thought had something good and she wants to slip away (in the end she did not go...)
