Is it a red flag if a girl you date takes birth control pills on a date and you haven't had sex with her yet?

Ok to start off, I know that just because a girl takes these pills doesn't make her a slut, but there was a girl I dated who sent me nudes before I met her, made subtle sex comments, etc and she was kinda subtle about wanting sex in the first date. I didn't because I just didn't want it to be a hookup. I liked her more than that but on the 2nd date a few days later, she took her birth control pills in front of me. The fact that she was taking the pill alone didn't bother me but more of the fact that she did that on top of sending nudes, and sending sexual messages. Would you raise a red flag or am I just reading into this?

A. She could have been dropping a hint that she wants sex asap and you dont have to worry about her getting pregnant.

B. Some women take the pill for other reasons besides not wanting to get pregnant, to them its just like taking a daily multivitamin so they don't mind taking it in front of people.

Some girls take prenatals for the good hair and skin benefits it has because a number of prenatals contain collagen among other things. And yes, they do take it in public cause it doesn't bother them and they don't care.

Right again, I'm not saying that anyone who takes these pills is a slut. I was just saying because she sent nudes before meeting me and boasted about her sex life. It's too late now though as were not seeing each other and she's back with the ex she complained about.

She may just take her pills around the time you were hanging out with her. You're supposed to take your birth control around the same time everyday. I would take mine after supper each day so I wouldn't read too much into it

Right, again it wasn't the fact that she was taking the pill alone. Personally I think girls should do that to be more responsible so they don't have accidental pregnancies, I was just saying that in addition to other things that she did.

Well, honestly, I think it could go both ways (red flag or reading too deep). I know that there are women that have to take birth control to regulate their menstrual cycle; however, if she was already making expressing sexual desire you could be with someone that sleeps with a lot of guys. I would personally, I am pretty cautious about my sexual partners, wait a little while on sex and watch her behavior, or talk to her about it.

Red flag for *what*? It's clear she's interested in sex with you. If you're not ready yet, she needs to be respecting that (hope she's not sending nudes w/o making sure you're okay with it). But being ready for sex isn't in-and-of-itself a worry.

I'm not seeing her anymore, but this is the only girl I've experienced this situation with. I did say yes to the nudes because it would have been awkward to say no but the thing is if she's sending them to me, especially before knowing me, she's sending them to everyone else. Which is funny because she said she's glad I'm not a guy who sends dick pics and dirty messages like other guys on pof. Talk about a hypocrite.

Abit? Thats major red flag. Be careful who you meet because you dont know them 100%. To me this sounds shady, where she got involved with some other guy who screwed her bareback. You are in the middle of it. If I were you I would get out of this situation, this is not normal
