Yeah its normal, My mom has it every 2 months! but 1 very important Question, Does it come irregulary? E. G. For me, since it began it never came after a month and sometimes it came after 3-4 months and sometimes the period lasted for 15 days !!! We knew it was a problem so when I went to the doctor he told us that i have some problem in my hormones ( In the masculine hormones ) and THAT caused what I had and other things related to it... So if u're like my case go to the doctor and he will tell u what to take In order to get better :), But if not , Dont worry it can come after 2 months :)
Also, you tend to have you periods around the same time as those in your household. If your mum goes on the pill her periods stop, but also yours may take longer to happen as it also messes up with your hormones as well as your mums or whoever. It happens to me. I also had more than one period because she did that. It's weird I know but it happens.

Yeah it happened to me before. Once I missed my period by 6 weeks, irregular periods/hormones problems. Consult the doctor and got some meds.
My periods have always skipped months. Maybe mention it to your doctor.
