I hate my downstairs area, what do I do?

I've been extremely upset about how I look down there and although my mum's told me it's all natural I can't help but be repulsed and feel as if I will be alone forever because guys will be repulsed, how can I expect them to accept something I can't accept on myself! I'm quite hairy down there although I do keep it trimmed, but the hair even continues to my bum hole and I don't want to shave or trim anywhere near there because once you start you can't stop and I don't want to be 80 years old and still having to wax (or shave) my ass, I choose not to completely remove any of the hair from my vulva because whenever I did it wouldn't feel right to me. I was advised to look at it for myself and it made it worse! It's darker and then the inside is pink and it is so clear to see that the hair leads straight to my bum hole but I still don't wanna remove it as every time you do it just gets worse and I don't feel comfortable doing that. I'm 17, most of my friends are getting into relationships but they have never worried about their downstairs area, I just feel as if I'll find nobody because of the fashion to have no hair down there and for guys my age hair down there is a certain turn off and if I do then they will be repulsed, I can't blame them because I'm am completely disgusted by it that it is always on my mind that I'm gross! All I do is cry because I don't want to be alone or disgusting and I honestly do hate myself, why can't I just be desirable like every other girl or just be okay with going bald. I feel if someone was to see that part of me then they wouldn't be attracted to me anymore because it's so unattractive down there. I've been told that what I have is normal and that's what a woman looks like but that was all by my mum who is a different generation to me and doesn't understand the 'fashion' nowadays. I just want someone to think I'm perfect without having to change myself down there, even though it is utterly repulsive; unrealistic right?

First, Calm down, you won't be a pariah because of that.
Second. You are absolutely normal. Some have a little more hair, some less.
Third. You will always have to shave. Shaving or not does not make hair grow faster or slower.
Fourth. You will HAVE to believe me when I say that there is NOTHING more beautiful in this WHOLE UNIVERSE than a vagina ok? I am not even joking. It's like men and women aren't wired the same way about this. When I see one, I salivate ! And I am not alone. It's like oysters. I LOVE oysters. Stop worrying ! Your vagina is beautiful. If you feel insecure about your hair, have it waxed or trim or shave it. Why don't you go talk with a beauty technician and ask her how it works and what it will do to you.

You are being way too self-conscious about your pubic hair. To have hair downstairs is the natural thing. Keep it up. Men find pubes very arousing. At least they should. First of all, calm down honey! There`s nothing wrong with you, that`s how men and women are. We all have hair down there, from the front to the back. You don`t have to be disgusted by your body. Men love all sizes of pussy, they really don`t care how it looks. I don`t get why you don`t want to shave though. It`s because you like it hairy? Or because you`re not confortable with the way it looks ans you`re afraid to be rejected? If you like it that way, keep it that way. If you really hate the hair and don't want to wax or shave, maybe consider laser? It permanently removes the hair, or lessens it drastically. Don't worry about being darker down there, many women are darker there and guys don't mind. Just keep it clean 😁

Honestly, I think the problem is more with yourself...
Don't worry about the color of your pigment, it's not important at all!
If the hair bothers you in certain areas, you can have electrolysis done to where it will not grow back... You may have to wait until you get a job and can afford it yourself, but you do have options.

if you're that worried, thn try out IPL (intense pulsed light) hair removal. It takes some time, but it is more or less permanent. Just a tought.

Most people here know that my family are naturists. I have seen just about every combination of hair/no hair, fat/thin, small labia/large labia. Leave it hairy, trim it, shave it, wax it. Whatever makes you happy.
