Why do girls like giving hickies?

Lol. . 4 most girls I think its more of a territorial thing. It tells other girls that your takin and for the most part keeps them at bay. HOWEVER I have started noticing hickey or not if a girl wants you she wants you. Hickeys don't mean a thing , sometimes they just mean that a girl has to work a little harder.
