Why don't I feel the 'spark' when kissing?

I had my first kiss when I was 13, and I recall it being pretty amazing. I had the butterflies in my stomach, sparks and all. I've kissed 3 guys afterward, and I've felt nothing, despite the fact that they were all boyfriends. I've had one serious relationship, which I got out of earlier this year. I was attracted to him and I felt the connection, but I felt absolutely nothing when we kissed. Whenever I'm in a relationship, I'm told I'm a good kisser, but why don't I ever feel anything?

  • It doesn't always happen unfortunately. There will never necessarily be that spark.

Sometimes I've had better kisses with guys that I didn't think I was in love with than guys who it was - I guess you can't force chemistry.

  • Maybe you haven't met a guy yet with whom you have such amazing chemistry. Don't worry, I've heard of it happening to people much older than us. I guess keep looking for the right guy...

  • You have kissing/kissable lips...

    Um,...wrong guy?

  • You won't feel that nervous feeling you felt during your first kiss. There is a reason why they say, "you never forget your first kiss".

  • you are the victim of hype. I wouldn't call it a "spark", even though all the romance books do. It's more like, you want to be in that -person's arms forever. It isn't really like electricity.
