Why don't porn stars use condoms?

I've always wondered this. I get that they have regular STD/STI tests but what about pregnancies? Do porn stars get their tubes tied?

I actually see them wearing condoms in videos quite a bit, maybe in about half of the ones I watch. Also, porn stars don't really have a need for it. The guidelines for porn stars to be regularly tested and clean are incredibly strict. There was once a reddit post all about it that went more into detail but they're strict enough that there's basically zero chance anyone working in that industry will be infected with any sort of STI. They get re-tested every 2 weeks or something, they are not allowed to sleep around outside of work and if they do have a partner, this must be a monogamous relationship and the partner will be regularly tested as well.

The establishment has been trying to establish some sort of... health and safety regulation to the adult's entertainment industry.

in California it is required that p*rn stars wear condoms. as well as abide by a lot of other regulations. as a result a lot of the industry has moved to florida where they do not have the same regulations yet... but most likely will

You can only get pregnant a single day during ovulation, sperm can survive for about a week, so you can only get pregnant from having sex in about 8 day period of the menstrual cycle.
Anybody who pays any attention to their cycle can predict 14 days of completely safe sex.

Porn industry used highly highly advanced technology to test for STDs/STIs. Porn stars are tested like three or four times before every shoot. They take blood samples so many times that I've heard one porn star say that she feels she's always getting stuck with needles.

All that said it is still possible for them to get STDs. I remember hearing about one actor who had a doctor lie for him so he could keep doing porn when he had a certain STD infecting many porn stars.

As far as pregnancies it depends. The one I've heard talk said that she doesn't use birth control or anything. She doesn't get fertilized as easy as some other pornstars. I imagine most porn stars use birth control though. One of her porn star friends said that she get fertilized so easily. She has a couple of kids already. She uses birth control.
