Guys: is peach fuzz type stuff a big deal?

I have more body hair than most girls do. It`s not the worst I've ever seen, and it isn't to the point of being like a guy. And I don`t have the problem on my face at all, which I`m glad about. But basically, I just have hair on some parts that for most girls (I think, anyway, haha) are completely smooth, like my back, butt cheeks, tummy and waist. (I obviously am not going to shave or wax my entire body, that would be insane.) It`s basically peach fuzz, soft and fine and light, but it IS fairly noticeable especially to the touch, and it makes me quite insecure. How do you guys feel about this on a girl? How much of a turn off is it? Please vote, and if you would let me know the specifics of your opinion I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
It`s a big turn off; I wouldn't want to have sex with a girl who had this.
Vote A
It`s a bit of a turn off, but it wouldn't stop me from being attracted to her.
Vote B
It doesn't bother me; I don`t care at all.
Vote C
I actually like it.

  • We're mammals. We have hair EVERYWHERE except the palms of our hands and the bottom of our feet. If it's light, soft to the touch, and not super noticeable, I would leave it alone. I agree with you. Waxing or shaving your entire body WOULD be insane, and the upkeep would be that much -more- insane. The usual areas are enough work as it is, haha.

Besides, everyone is always their own worst critic. Tons of girls have light peach fuzz on those areas of their bodies, including myself, so it's not like you're some anomaly. You might not notice it on others because it's really not that noticeable. Which means others probably won't notice it on you. Look at this girl's tummy. link . She's covered in little bitty peach fuzz. And link . Most girls probably at -least- that amount of hair on certain areas of their bodies.

It's completely normal, and most guys with any kind of logic or rational thought patterns realize this and won't care. IF they even notice it to begin with.

  • well I have the same problem.. like a little bit of a belly button trail.. and a little on my back, and a lot more gurls than you think have it

the only guy that's ever said ne thing rude about it to me was this total douche.. but he still wanted me it didn't change the way he looked at me.. but no other guys seem to care. I'm sure theyd prefure for you not to have it but they don't care.. iv been with my guy for like ever and he never said a damn word about it, I askt him if he ever noticed it and he said yea and I askd if it bugd him and he said no..

but don't shave or wax it, 2 of my good friends did and its worse

n I bleached mine once and it came back a little darker so just leave it alone and don't be so self concious about it

    • Yeah, I figured out not to shave/wax it the hard way. But it`s back to normal now. Thanks for the response!

  • Just do what you need to to get rid of it. Shave it, wax it, thread it, or use a facial razor. 80% of women have this problem, men just don't know about it. And when they do they think its gross, and blah blah blah. Kind of like the poop thing. If you have a new boyfriend, the last thing you want to do is take a shit at his house, or tell him you need to, he'd think it was gross, and you would be embarrassed. But over time you come to love one another, and the poop doesn't matter :-). You could literally look up ways to shave your face on YouTube. Its extreamly common. What a man doesn't know, ain't going to kill him. They dont need to know EVERYTHING! And if it's only peach fuzz in some places, just leave it!

  • Whew! Ummmm...I honestly don't know. But I'm leaning toward the "maybe not" section. It's hard to say. If we're alone, no problems...if we're at a concert then probably not a concern. If it's the beach and you want a tan then...yikes! "Houston...etc,..etc..."

I did date a Latina with hair on her arms but that was the only place she'd let it be natural from what I could tell. (And I could tell a LOT. lol >nudge nudge<)

No, seriously she let it alone on her arms and I didn't have a problem with it. I even found myself stroking her forearm absently when we were close.

    • "maybe not" as in maybe you don`t care, or maybe you do?

    • Sorry about that. I see the confusion. I meant "maybe not" as in "not a big fan of the body hair thing."

  • Umm I guess I'm a special case, but I actually enjoy it when a girl has that very thin hair I can feel. It makes her body seem so much more "fuzzy" when I rub her. My first and second girlfriends were like you and I found it an immense turn on. The fuzzy feeling feels good to the touch and lets me see her natural beauty(which is always better than fake beauty)

    • Hey thanks! Even if you`re a rare case, it makes me feel a bit better.

  • Wax it girl I know some guys will disagree and say they don't care but to me it's like nose and ear hair on a guy it shouldn't be there or not trimming your beard carefully or shaving. You have to be able to compensate heavily to cover it so why compensate why not just get rid of the negatives.

    • Thanks for being honest, but there`s really no earthly way to make waxing work for this. I wax my legs and stuff, so it`s not that I don`t want to wax. But it doesn`t work well for really fine hair, it just breaks the hairs and makes them come back thicker until they go back to normal. (I`ve tried it.)

    • Well I was honest I wouldn't have been if I hadn't seen it and been turned off by it. You could try laser surgery or shaving (I know shaving scares people but it really doesn't make hair grow back thicker and if it is peach fuzz now it will stay peach fuzz. https://www.mayoclinic.com/health/hair-removal/AN00638

  • I have a female friend who had hair everywhere also (but it was dark). She had her arms, stomach and mustache hair removed with lazer.

    • Hmm. Did it work well for her? I`ve heard it can be dangerous...

    • It worked for her but she had to go have a retouch on her arms. The mustache I think was like $300...the stomach and arms about $800 I believe. I know it was all over $1000.

    • Expensive, but maybe worth it. On the other hand, I don`t know if mine is bad enough to justify spending that much. Anyway, thanks so much for the info.

  • I like it sometimes, seriously do NOT wax or shave it, it might come back darker and thicker, keep the razor on your legs, bikini, and pits. If you absolutely hate it and want it off use laser.

  • Peach fuzz on a girls body is hugely hot for me.

  • If it's just a little fuzz it should be unnoticable but as long as you shave your vag lol you'd have to get close to notice just fuzz and if a guys that close then he won't be thinking about fuzz

  • Light peach fuzz in the sun is sweet anywhere.

  • I have the same problem, and it makes me extremely self-conscious. :(

  • That is fine, you're probably Italian. My ex girlfriend was like that too. If you have a bush that might take away from the rest of the hair, which could be good.

    • Thanks. I`m actually not Italian, much any way, I guess I have a fluke gene. :( Are you sure having a bush wouldn`t make it even worse? (I don`t have like a "bushy" bush, but I don`t wax everything, I just trim it.)

    • Just trimming it is fine!
