I think you need to sit down and talk to him about the situation without fighting or either of you raising your voice. During sex a lot of people tend to get into a different mindset and do things they wouldn't normally do out of the bedroom. It sounds like he's into some different sexual things and took it upon himself to carry out his fantasies without your consent. I know that a lot of guys like to slap girls or pull their hair, so I think that he just got extremely carried away and was lost in the moment.
I don`t think you should give him another chance. Hitting is abuse, even if it only happens once, and abusive relationships can become very complicated, dangerous and difficult to end. It`s best to get out before things get out of hand.
And what`s up with the whole pistol thing? I don`t care where you live, I am NOT into guns. Personally, I think they`re dangerous simply to have around. What if someone ELSE went crazy, found your gun, and hurt YOU with it?
A more likely sinerio is a bad person with a gun comes into my house to cause me harm and that gun protects me from that bad person.
Wow, I can definitely see how he could have gotten carried away but, I would imagine a slap more than a punch. I mean, a punch just isn't intuitive or even sexy. Something tells me that the fact that he wants to get back together after you pointed a pistol at him might be a red flag for you to take a look at. Nothing against you, I can see how you'd be p*ssed but, most guys would really think it through before rushing back to someone who did that.
