I feel this is very much a maturity issue, in that if he is willing to lie to get sex, odds are he is willing to lie about any number of other things as well. These are also behaviors that tend to fall into the idea that they are not really accountable for their own actions, and there are a line of excuses for how or why they do things that are generally unacceptable not only in the eyes of women but society as well. I would be very aware of people like this, because this is not isolated to gender as women will do this too. If you listen, you may find there are lots of people who blame everybody else for their woes. As for your initial question? There are many reasons guys will lie, ranging in reason from insecurity to downright cowardice.
Some guys do and others don't. I use to be one of those guys who just wanted a good f***.I never looked for love in a relationship because I was scared of love .to me it wasn't just about sex it was just the pursuit of getting the girl. that was my thing bag em do them leave them. I know it was wrong. But not every guy just want sex it could just be the rush you get from the pursuit or the ability to say well if I wanted to f*** her I can. I'm not defending guys who do this I know its all wrong to use women I'm just saying its not always about sex.or sometimes guys will do that just to put on a front so that they can prove to people that they are a playa or trying to prove that they are not gay
