My first time didn't hurt?

I recently lost my virginity. When I had sex, it didn't hurt at all and I didn't bleed. In fact, his penis just slid right in. Does this mean I lost my virginity without knowing?(my mother once asked me if I remember having sex when I was young and I don't think I do. SHe told me this boy bragged to his friend that he had sex with me, but at the time I was only 6.. I don't recall anything like that.) or is not hurting normal? (my boyfriend and I have been dating for two years if that helps at all)

  • First times don't always hurt. My first time he was gentle then got rough lol. But anyways just means that you were turned on... And also your boyfriend was probably gentle. Also you can be a Virgin but break your hymen via trauma etc. But this doesn't necessarily mean you lost your virginity. Virginity is lost through actual penetration

  • It just means you were extremely turned on and wet. Sex isn't actually supposed to hurt and you're not supposed to bleed your first time. The hymen doesn't break, it just stretches. If you bleed that's because something is torn.

  • It's not SUPPOSED to hurt, from all the research I've done on the matter. If it hurts, your mind isn't there and you're not getting fully aroused enough and/or the guy isn't workin' hard enough to help you get there.

  • My first time wasn't particularly painful either. I was just short of turning 20. Not even a drop of blood. It was a mild discomfort, at most.
Differs with each girl. You could've been a virgin still.

  • I'm guessing you weren't child raped and your normal anatomy allowed a trauma-free entry for him. Everyone's different.

  • You were 6 and now you are not a virgin because male penetration.

  • Meh, there is nothing wrong with you if you don't notice any blood the first time you have sex. Not all women bleed when they have vaginal intercourse for the first time.

    Good luck.

  • no i think you're fine, i had no particular pain but whole experience was quite uncomfortable first time around.

  • It probably just means you did things right. :) It's not supposed to hurt, that's not the purpose.

    • Yep ! Maybe your guy was just a champ?

  • It's not supposed to hurt if done right. So you're fine.

  • Mine didn't either. It's not supposed to hurt.

  • *claps* my boy did that girl right , respect

  • This happened to me last night too. Everyone used to tell me how painful sex was for them and I felt no pain and I didn't experience any bleeding.

  • It's not totally abnormal for it not to hurt and for you to not bleed. Women commonly can tear their hymen without even knowing it - I experienced bleeding after a bumpy bike ride when I was younger so there's a good chance that I have done this.
