My crush sent me dirty texts? Is this flirting? What was he thinking?

I was texting him about how I had to meet up one at a time with our group of friends because no one was available on the same day. He then jokingly tells me I'm going to be the 'village bicycle.' I joked around that since he was the first person I was going to go out with, he'd be the first person that rides me. He replies that he's going to pop my cherry. I know it's all a joke, and we have similar dirty minds and sense of humor.. but I'm wondering if this is a good or bad sign? Personally I don't mind, it made me laugh. Would you guys ever text a girl you like stuff like this? Or even a friend of the opposite sex? What was he thinking? Is there any hint at all that he may like me(flirting)?

  • I wouldn't talk like that with a friend- those type of sexual innuendos usually are directed to the ONE person I have feelings for. Granted, no two people are the same, so he may have alternate intentions than myself. Based on how he said "he will pop your cherry" and teasing you about being the "village bicycle"- it would be reasonable to assume he likes you and is ready to experiment sexually.

    - It may have been playful banter, but I doubt it was a "joke" per se'. I believe his intentions are to build attraction in you to where you both can be fulfilled physically while you are both already compatible mentally.

  • It's really hard to say. If you're both really good friends and joke around like that all the time then it probably means nothing. However, if that's the first time it could possibly mean that he's flirting.

Have you two showed or shared feelings about each other before? If not, maybe you should talk to him and get a vibe to whether or not he's interested in you.

In all occasions, it's hard to tell the true meaning of a text message. I wish I could be more of a help here...

    • Well, he's got a girlfriend now, and its not me, and he still does it to me, so I think you're right, he sees it as nothing since he knows I'm not bothered by the jokes either...
