How do you ask your girlfriend not to shave?

Before anyone says anything I want to make 2 things clear: 1. Yes I like body hair, that's my thing. 2. I wouldn't be trying to force her to shave or try to convince her if she said no. However it's not something you can just bring up without sounding weird. If she is not open to the idea from the start, then I won't keep trying. So my girlfriend hasn't shaved her legs in a while because it's winter and she wears mostly long pants anyhow. She told me about it and was afraid it might gross me out, but I told her it's alright and I don't care. What I really wanted to say was "Yes oh gos yes never pick up razor again." I have no idea if she's open to the idea of not shaving or not. I would tell her that shaving your entire body is a pain and you don't have to do it for me because I like it, but I don't know how to ask it without making her feel awkward.

Try asking her if she would prefer for you not to shave (face or whatever) and see what she says. If she already knows you like body hair (if this pertains to you too) and find it strange you would ask this just tell her you're wondering about changing your looks a little. What you want to do is bring up the subject by projecting it on yourself first. Hopefully, she'll ask you what you prefer about hair on her. If you feel this might not work, next time if she tells you about her not shaving and is still afraid it will gross you out; instead of just saying it's alright and you don't care, be a little more blunt and straightforward and say something to the effect of: "Not at all. Actually, I like a little hair on girls". Think carefully of how words you use could be received by another person. When you said it's alright and you don't care for this one time she told you, she might have thought you were just saying that for that one time; not for then on.

One day I asked my girlfriend to grow out her pubic hair because she was bald down stairs. She said alright and she let her pubic hairs grow back. She enjoyed the way I looked at her pubic hair grow back in. She told me she believe that her pubic hair looked more fuller from all that shaving she did for her ex boyfriend. You can have a lot of fun with a natural lady. Remember what you ask your girlfriend to do keep an opened mind. If she shave or not shave for you, then you need to shave or not shave for her. I've had guys tell me they prefer various parts not shaved, including armpits! So I don't. If she thinks you are turned on by it, she will leave the hair there. If she thinks you are just being nice so she doesn't have to worry, but secretly are going to eventually get grossed out on the hairy legs, she'll shave them. It will probably take some convincing, but if you really truly prefer it, make sure she knows.

Rubbing lotion on them when she hasn't shaved and just showing appreciation for them au naturel will go a long way towards convincing her.

Well, you're right about the whole 'shaving all the time is a pain' thing.

Next time you can see her legs or something and she hasn't shaved, tell her you think it's sexy or something, but be as flirtingly serious as possible. You don't want her to think your being an ass :P

You could say something like "Ya know, you should stop shaving more often ;]"

Just tell her you think she looks sexy with hair and see how it goes. But don't expect anything. Most female who shave do it because they like it and it makes them feel comfortable. If she's really into you then maybe she'll go a little while without shaving, but indefinitely? Don't count on it. I personally wouldn't stop shaving for anyone.
