Yes, it does, haha. I've had it happen on accident and laid on the floor for several minutes afterward with a cup of ice between my legs. Heavy solid objects flying into one's pubic bone doesn't feel very good. And I imagine it would be much worse if it was a purposeful kick with real force behind it. I'd liken it to getting hit really hard in any bony area. Like getting punched in the jaw, except in your crotch, hahaha. Sure there's SOME padding to cushion the blow, but it still hurts no matter what because there are so many nerves there, and I ended up with a gnarly bruise. I don't bruise very easily either.

to be honest it depends. If its hard then yes! Once I got a soccer ball got kicked there but it didn't hurt at all. Then when I got older and split the beam in gymnastics, it hurt like hell! So it depends on how hard. Most of the time its more of the pressure that's uncomfortable but if the bone gets hit hard then that's when it hurts real bad!
YES. I remember my friend accidentally did a few years ago, and I was in pain for like, 10 minutes, haha. I guess it doesn't hurt more than getting kicked in most places though.

Are you kidding? Of course it would hurt. It's full of nerves and it's soft, bruisable tissue backed up against a pelvic bone. There's a world of difference between the pressure put on it by sex and the pressure of a kick. I hope you're not planning to test it out.
