Girls, how do you keep your breath fresh in the morning?

Let's say you wake up next to your boyfriend and he wants to have a morning kiss, but your breath isn't fresh? What do you do and how do you prevent it?

  • Have a mint near your bed, wake up before him to bursh, or just do it. Everyone has bad breath in the morning. Doesn't your boyfriend too? At the beginning of relationship I usually wake up earlier to brush or have mint, but as we get used to each other, we stop caring about small thing like that. It's a morning sex! Lol. The first morning I woke up next to my first boyfriend, he was going to kiss me but I refused cause I was worried about my bad breath, then he asked "why? Do I smell bad?". Then I knew it was a normal concern lol.

    • Thanks for MHO! :)

  • how the hell is my breath supposed to be fresh when i wake up? id laugh at any man who expects it to be. he clearly didn't take science. u wanna kiss me, cool, either accept my morning breath, or imma get up, we gonna brush our teeth and we can make out in the sheets for as long as he likes.

  • There's nothing you can do unless you always try to wake up before him and brush your teeth. Everyone has bad breath in the morning.

  • There's a bottle of mouthwash under the vanity. I just get up & gargle quickly.

  • I just kiss him quickly then go brush my teeth? Chances are he doesn't actually give a shit about it so I don't even have to go brush my teeth all the time.

  • I often wake up first, go pee and brush my teeth then get back in bed. The added benefit being fresh minty mouth makes for a great bj. Lol.

    • I figured you'd say just give him a BJ and you won't have to kiss him! LOL.

    • @CheerGirl38139 even better idea! I have that too. lol.

    • *.. done that..

  • Go brush your teeth quickly

  • I get up and brush my teeth before he wakes up, also a good time to poop

  • Well, I brush my teeth before I go to bed. Plus I don't eat foods that normally cause bad breath. I am also not a mouth breather (I don't snore, or have my mouth really open when I sleep. Mouth breathing causes the mouth to dry and bacteria reacts - causing bad breath).

You can try brushing at night if you don't already. Drinking a glass of water might help not make your mouth so dry throughout the night (keeping hydrated is good for you in general, too).

  • ... I just have the morning sex. Neither of us have super fresh minty breath, but nor do we have manky breath because we both brush our teeth ar night.
He's not going to be expecting you to smell like you've already been up, showered and brushed your teeth. It's not about that. It's about the sex.
