Why does cum burn?

Every time my boyfriend cums inside me it burns but when he doesn't cum in me after sex it doesn't burn. And it hurts like hell when he cums! I have only had sex with him and no one else. He's had it with two other girls before me and claims he got checked the last time he had sex (before me and him had sex), bc his ex cheated and then they had sex without him knowing about her cheating til after then he got worried. The doctor said he was good. So I don't think it's STD's. Any suggestions? Maybe should he get checked again? ( I don't know if he will want to get checked again, but still I was a virgin and I couldn't have gave him anything )

  • Been there done that have the T-shirt
    It's not him, it's you
The salt/other in his healthy sperm finds tiny tears/fissures inside your vag... think of having a scrape or papercut and salt water or soap, et al. get in there = ouch, burning = same thing.

    Causes vary
    > some gals are recovering from herpes and sometimes it will burn, other times not
    > not using rubber gloves while probing inside you and especially long naked fingernails can scar, scrape inside you
    > yeast infections can create this phenomenon
    > no lube on sex toys going inside
    > now you think of what's been inside that could do similar

Inquiring minds what to know the best answers you find that evidence support.

  • I don't think it is his semen. Because you are kinda new to sex you still might have some tiny tears inside your vaginal walls. Have you tried condoms? They will certainly help with the pregnancy issues. Also try some lube, it works great. How often are you two having sex? Does it hurt if you go for round two or three?

    • We have sex at least three days a week and sometimes twice a day and it doesn't bother me, condoms are fine, plus I've been having sex like this for 4 months

  • You could be allergic to semen, which unfortunately is something that happens. But it could also be something else. Maybe YOU have an infection or something (not necessarily an STD). I would recommend going to the doctor, and it also wouldn't hurt for him to get checked again just to make sure. Also, do you use lube during sex and/or get wet enough? Excessive friction could damage your vaginal walls and then make it more susceptible to irritation. Semen is very alkaline, so it has a very different pH from that of your vagina. That could make irritation more intense.

  • . I don't believe you boyfriend if his come burns the strong possibility exists that he has an infection. And I would not allow him to go to the doctor without you. I would go to the doctor with him. If he comes clean checks out then you need to see your doctor. By the way this doesn't necessarily have to be a sexually transmitted disease that can be so simple as a urinary tract infection

  • I have the same issue, my dr told me it's a form of allergic reaction. If it gets on my skin it burns really bad and it leaves a rash after I wash it off and burns bad when he cums inside me, that's one way I can always tell if he's came is when it starts to burn. I like him to cum inside me or wherever he likes and the burning is only a few mins because I clean up quickly after

    • It doesn't burn at all on my skin, just inside me it burns or on my vagina, and no rash

    • Still could be a mild allergic reaction

  • If I was you, I would get checked, there is very highly chance you have a STD

  • Oho... you MIGHT be allergic to his cum!

Get him to cum on your belly or something, and see if it irritates your skin there.

If it's not that, maybe you're not using enough lube, and it's irritating microtears inside you?

But maybe allergy! It happens from time to time (and sometimes, it's the guy who is allergic to his own cum... it doesn't usually bother me much, thankfully)

  • If it burns, something's wrong. Get yourself checked out and don't take his word for what the doctor told him. Any potential awkwardness now is worth knowing that you're okay later.

  • Check ur self and tell that to the doctor pls. Some women might be allergic to sperm and describe as a heat or burn even a itch.

Its nor normal and there is no std for that xD. He might be also 2 hot for u? My girlfriend said once it was hot for her and felt like burn (she is not allergic or stds)

Just talk to a doctor sweety. Dont be afraid to ask ;)

  • You could be allergic to cum or just his cum. I'd contact a doctor about it to be sure, because that isn't normal.

  • Sends on whether it burns when he pees. If he didn't tell the doc something as important as that then he should. If everything is well besides the cum burning I've got nothing for you sorry.

  • vaginas are acidic. to maintain good health they're ph hovers around 4 (tomato juice). semen has a ph of around of around 7.5 (slightly more of a base than water)

when you mix an acid and a base a chemical reaction occurs. not to mention in this case, you're mixing a base into an acid, increasing the intensity of the reaction.

  • Cun doesn't burn... something is wrong... check with a doctor.

  • That's not normal

  • You might be allergic to his semen. There are cases like this. I suggest you look into it.

  • It shouldn't burn I don't think. Mine has never "burned" anyone. That's a little strange but maybe it could be a dietary issue?

  • You could be allergic to it. I've heard of that sort of thing happening.

    • Sorry. I misread that. I thought it was burning you. He needs to go back to a doctor and tell them that he's already been checked for STDs and such. There's another problem. Could be some inflammation somewhere down there that causes the pain. Googe painful ejaculations and see if he ticks off any of the other boxes for the specific causes. But going to the doctor and getting their opinion and treatment is primary advice obviously.
