I've heard from many sources that girls can't orgasm from it. If so, then why do so many girls like sex and hooking up with random guys so much? I'm a virgin by the way.

There's a lot of evidence that clitoral tissue is located inside, as well, though not at the surface. Hence, the theory of the gspot. I'd say most women would find that ample foreplay leading to penetration with continued clitoral stimulation (through hands, his body, or even the back and forth sensation) can lead to a more intense orgasm (provided the penetration doesn't hurt) than just rubbing the tip of the clit alone.

However, from experience, it seems that the inner erotic tissue needs intense sexual arousal to really be stimulatating and not everyone gets this turned on before penetration starts.

I didn't have an orgasm during sex until I was 25 or so. Then, once I figured out how my body worked and how to make it happen, I have them quite often and with different partners (so it wasn't just one guy's technique). Also, not being self conscious to just rub it while he's thrusting goes a long way. Sometimes we just need a little help to catch up with what point he's at, arousal wise. No biggie.

Not really, you barely even notice outside of the additional pleasure. Sometimes the guy will run it too, though sometimes he needs his hands for balance. I can have them without additional touching if I'm turned on enough now, but sometimes the guy will be too close to finishing and you need that extra push to get on his timetable.

My answer is anecdotal, but I only knew two girls who couldn't orgasm from penetration. One of them did as soon as she had sex with me, the other, even though we did it twice, I couldn't make her come. So I suspect there's many different reasons in play - some aren't with sufficiently-skilled lovers, others are with good lovers but there is a physiological or psychological difficulty.

I would say it's true that more women can orgasm from clitoral stimulation than vaginal stimulation -only-, but most women find the combination more satisfying. They also psychologically find sex a turn on, so the combination of turn on + satisfying sensation makes it a winner.
