Why do I always have to poop when im horny?

Hey guys, gals 😜 So this is really weird whenever Im horny I either get really gassy or I have to poop. It sounds funny but its pretty weird. Is this a bad thing? Or does anybody know why I get like this? Thank you.

This is actually a pretty common occurrence, in both men and women, and those who would call you strange are either ignorant or in denial.

Pooping is a pleasurable experience (generally speaking). When you have to go, there is a build up of pressure in your nether regions, and more blood moves towards your abdomen as you get ready to have a bowel movement. Internally, your anus and rectum, and sphincter are all very close to your primary sexual organs (for women, the wall of the anus is very close to that of the vagina, and for men, poop presses by the prostate gland on the way out, causing a pleasurable sensation). There can consequently be a confusion of sensations.

I think there is also just a natural 'fight or flight' response that your body has. If you're feeling particularly excited--sexually or otherwise--sometimes your animal brain kicks in to void bladder and intestinal tract as: a) defense mechanism; b) a way to jettison material that would slow you down in a flight situation, or in this particular case, that which would slow you down in having sex.

Sounds like a pretty unusual reaction to being horny. The only explanation I can think of as to why that may be is because you're nervous. Unless this association of feeling like you need to have a bowel movement happens when you're horny outside of the context of shortly having sex?

Oh my gosh. I feel the exact same!!! Sometimes IeI up pooping before masturbating and when it's with my partner I don't know I just push that feeling aside and it goes away.
