I am getting a boob job. I am a size A. Should I get C cup or D cup?

No judging, this is my decision and it will make me happier and more confident. So please help me and tell me what you think. I am complitely flat chested, so I want to make a REAL difference. I am affraid if a go for a C cup it will be too small and all the effort would be for nothing. If a go for D a am affraid that I may not get used to the BIG boobs... Please help, thank you!

Wow! I have never gotten so many responses. Thanks people for the advice and I liked how a girl here said "either go big or go home" snd another guy is also right here "that is too much pain and money to go to a C. The difference won't be even noticable." Besides, even as a kid I always wanted BIG tits and since I wasn't blessed with natural ones, Imma create my own life how I want it! Plus, the natural big boobs are saggy, the "fake" ones are sexy and perky and firm! I am so happy!!! 🎉🎊

  • 1. You don't look flat chested.
    2. You're really young, so this concerns me. I'd advise you to wait a few years at least. Your body is still developing and changing. Just this year, my boobs are finally growing. I am a late bloomer, I was like 32AA for a long time, now I'm a 34A. And those are starting to fill up. I'm 24, will be 25 in a few months.
    3. Do lots of research!
I used to want implants so badly, like really badly. But I did my research and now I don't want them. Watch "My Small Breasts and I", it's a documentary about how other IBTC deal with their small bust insecurities.
    4. Like I said, I did my research and decided against it. Just make sure you're really certain about this, but I'd still advise you to wait a few years. Your body could change. You could change your mind. It even the technology could improve.
Here are some risks I hope you're aware of:
-It can pose difficulties or even impede breastfeeding, you know, the reason boobs even exist. Take this into consideration if you might want kids in the future and if boyfriend is important to you.
-Can reduce nipple sensitivity or even damage nerves enough that you almost don't even feel it. This depends largely on how big you go. But that's still enough for me to decide against it. What's the point of having big boobs that don't respond to when they're being played with?
-It's surgery, so there's those risks you need to worry about.
-They can rupture and get infected.
-Need to be redone every x amount of years. So that's extra money you need to have set aside.
-Sure, many women have an initial excitement after getting them, but others go back to feeling insecure, depressed, or even regretting the decision. Also, women with breast implants have a 6x suicide rate than those without. Implants are not a "miracle solution". Love your body BEFORE you get them done. Otherwise, it's pointless and you'll end up feeling bad about them. Many women think it'll work wonders, and it might, but it's usually temporary. You need to tackle the underlying cause, not just look for a quick fix.
-etc etc and many more risks

Pretty much, I'm not trying to deter you, but warn you to do your research! Make sure this is absolutely what you want. You're still very young, so I'd highly advise you to wait a few years. I used to want them so badly, literally a year ago. And now, I don't. Had a gone through with it, I definitely would've regretted it.
Weigh the risks and benefits and good luck!

    • But if you *must* get them, go for a C cup because they'd suit your slender frame more. And just remember that it doesn't work like that, they go by cc's. So your "ideal size" isn't always guaranteed.

  • As someone who has been both of those sizes here is my advice:

I say it really depends on what you want personally. The best thing to do is ask the doctor what sizes he/she would suggest for you.

Maybe try on some bras that are the same band size you are now, but a C or a D cup. Get an idea of how much more you could possibly have with a breast enhancement.

D cups may not be that bad, especially if you are a lower band size. I've always had larger boobs and as a C cup I didn't have any trouble finding tops. D cup I did, but that was mainly due to the fact that I was a plus size person with little options (at the time I was in high school and I didn't know plus size stores and clothes existed).

What it really comes down to is how much you can proportionately handle. I've never had back problems related to my breasts. But that's mainly because I'm a bigger person. I have broad shoulders and such. If you have shoulders which are not wide, and have a slimmer overall body, then maybe opting for the C Cup would be a good choice.

It also depends on the fullness of the breasts too and how close together they are. My boobs are far apart, so even for me it's hard to have good cleavage sometimes. My boobs are literally so far apart, I can fit my cellphone between there and it will fall through my shirt.

If your boobs are already close together, then a C Cup would probably be fine. Since you are getting your boobs enhanced, I don't think the fullness will be an issue. The doctor will make sure they look good :)

  • Uh, this isn't how breast augmentations work, hon.

When you get a breast augmentation, you decide on a certain size of implants, which is measured in cc's. Yr surgeon may be able to give you an APPROXIMATE idea of the eventual increase in cup size you'll have as a result of the operation... but, it doesn't work the way yr portraying it here. It's not "dial-a-cup size".

Also, neither C nor D is a particluarly large cup size, anyway. **IF** more women actually knew how to fit bras properly, those would be pretty much right around perfectly average.

If yr bra fits correctly, then, a C cup is only a 3" difference between overbust and underbust measurements, and a D cup is only a 4" difference. Those are not big.
If you have a substantial breast augmentation, and you wear bras that actually FIT afterward, there's NO WAY you'll still be wearing something as small as a C cup. At the very minimum -- if you go with relatively small implants -- you'll AT LEAST be in a D cup, if not larger.

    • You listen, hun! I know all of that, OBVIOUSLY I have consulted my doctor. I know I can't just say: "I want a D cup", the final results vary around the "promised size", but I am just asking wich size people think is sexier? C or D?

    • ahhh lol
Most WOMEN don't even understand what those are actually supposed to look like. Let alone men.

This is a girl whose CORRECT size bra is 30D:
      cf.girlsaskguys.com/.../...2-8a88-0ddaf8fc14bd.jpg

Most people have NO IDEA. Most people think that D-cup boobs are much, much bigger than those.

    • so so so very true... Mine are gonna end up being C cups based on what I "tried" on. And they look very natural and on the small-ish side. So much of is varies on your frame, body size, bmi, etc.

  • you don't look flat chested in the pics though... :/
anw you should ask your doctor more about it and let him show you some before after shots with each size so you can envision yourself better.
Note also that if you have a flat chest like you re claiming, then you don't have enough skin tissue for the implants, therefore if you get a big size your boobs will look like 2 bowling balls.
So c would look more natural on you.
it also depends on your frame.
anw good lck and hope you ll be satisfied with whatever you ll go for ^^

    • Just look at the pocs of Mia Khalifa. She was even more flat chested than me and she got DD cups. Thank you though for your support! 😘

    • There are 2 kinds of implants, saline and silicone. The "bowling balls" look only happens if a woman gets saline implants, on top of the chest muscles. That was something you saw decently often between 1992 and 2006, because, for those 14 years, silicone breast implants were banned in the US. (They were still legal in other countries, but, few of them were manufactured because of the US ban.) Since 2006 silicone implants have been legal again, so, you don't really see the bowling-balls look anymore. When silicone is installed above the muscle, it can still look pretty natural. The most natural look comes from putting saline implants UNDER the chest muscles (submuscular placement), but, you need a certain amount of existing breast tissue in order to make that feasible. Still, you don't need a ton. I was a 32B before my breast augmentation (and I'm 6'2" so, in relative terms, those are some srsly itty bitty titties), and that was enough for submuscular.

    • @redeyemindtricks the most natural... yup that was exactly my point, I know about that cause I wanted to do breast implants and he explained those things to me and I saw a few examples with silicone but they looked too fake in my opinion...

  • NEITHER!!! i know that you probably have some body issues concerning your breast size. but i say leave them alone. small breasts have one advantage that big ones don't. gravity works! the girls that you see with massive mammaries will be the ones that are jealous of you one day when their tits are dangling below their belts and their nipples are snagging their waist bands and your breasts will still be"perky". personally i thing that a very firm pair of A cup or small firm B cups are the most sexy especially if they are crowned with appropriately sized areola and nice nipples.

the other issue is there is going to be some dangerous foreign matter shoved into your chest and there are SOOOO many associated health risks involved that it should be illegal to do implants except for mastectomy victims. sure they have been approved by the FDA (food and death administration). but how muck money did the manufacturer pay to bypass trials and receive approval without testing? my sister died from lupus and it is directly associated with breast and butt cheek implants.

now my question is what will be your next body part that isn't designer quality that will need augmentation? will you need rhinoplasti, labioplasti liposuction clitoroplasti, ear cartilage pinning? and who are you really doing this for? some guy that is a big boob worshiper? some girl that makes fun of you because she is big breasted and you aren't? God blessed you with smaller breasts so you could look younger longer and be more desirable as you age. be proud of them and don't ruin such a beautiful work of art... the A cup breast.

    • Yeah but I don't care for tomorrow. I don't want to sacrifice my beauty and youth in order to feel desirable in my late 30s. There is NO way I will feel desirable in ny late 30s with or without big boobs. I want to look as sexy as possible while I am young. And then when I notice sagging, I can always take the implants out. But another thing is that "fake" boobs almost never sagg! #fact

    • it is your choice but please don't get caught up in the "live fast, die young, and leave a beautiful corpse" ideal. despite what greedy doctors and medical device manufacturers will admit, the implants still pose serious medical risks and unless you ask about specific risks they will not tell you. they would loose MONEY if they did. it isn't about your self image or self esteem to the medical community. it is about the thousands of dollars they are going to make off of you. such is the way of modern medicine. but it ultimately is your choice. I'm not trying to be cruel or be a buzzkill so please don't take it that way. i just want YOU to to be an informed medical consumer.

  • C cup. Sounds like you've made up your mind but I personally don't like implants (and a lot of guys don't). It sounds like you are doing this more for you, but if guys factor into it at all most of us don't like them. Sure they're bigger but they feel awful and fake. I take a natural A cup any day over C or D implants. Food for thought. Plus things can go wrong with them. I've heard of cases where a horrible job was done and they are like deformed lol, or, even cases where they've broke open inside the breast afterwards.

    • Yes, I do it for myself, that is true. Thank you for your concerns and warning, but I have consulted my doctor and I hope that everything is gonna be fine. It is a rutine surgery. It is very common. Plus I have 3-4 months until I do it. I just wanted to say what many women who have done boob jobs said to me: guys can't even tell the difference between real and fake ones. Anyway, I hate how natural big boobs look like. Saggy and sqooshy. "Fake boobs" aren't fake as if they were holograms. You can touch them, squeeze them. They are firm, theyvstay ip and they don't jiggle ad much as the natural big ones. Plus, I don't think you have ever had sex with a girl with implants. Sobdon't be like: "He said, she said!"

    • The natural giggling is really hot though, a turn on (why do you think Baywatch was so popular back in it's day? lol) It's not natural for them to not move. I have always been able to tell by the look and feel so far. It's a turn off to. But that's just me. Maybe they've made progress with this over the years and they're better than they used to be? Good luck with it. I hope it works out well for you.

    • @gingerguy
      uhhhhh... DUDE

Did you REALLY just cite BAYWATCH as an example of "natural" boobage?
      oh
      no
      you
      dit
      n't

      I mean... SRSLY?

      consider:
" 'We were blessed with Baywatch,' plastic surgeon Dr. Leonard Grossman said. 'It is the most vivid form of advertising. It's like an hour-long plastic-surgery commercial.' "
      abcnews.go.com/.../story?id=94018&page=1

On the other hand, you are PERFECTLY making the Asker's point for her, about how men can't tell the difference between real and fake, and about how men's ideal of "natural" breasts is actually totally artificial.

      But... seriously, omg.
Baywatch as an example of "natural" boobs is like Barry Bonds as an example of steroid-free athletics.

What Girls & Guys Said

  • I know the voting shows many guys going for the D cup, but I think you'd be very happy with the C. The reasons: D cup girls have a very difficult time finding tops that fit. They can be heavy on your shoulders for the bra and your back too. When you get older, the extra weight will pull them down and they'll look worse (to you especially). They get in the way more than those girls admit. And while guys do love them, that's all some guys seem to focus on, instead of them!

I was with a girl that got a breast reduction. Hers were like DDD size. No joke. I saw them before and after. She had them brought down to a C size. She loved them totally and still does after 20+ years. Additionally, you'll have zero problems finding a bra in any style, color, or sexiness, with C sized boobs.

Okay... now for my hope. I hope you don't go through with this - yet, anyway. You're still pretty young. I'd give yourself another 4-6 more years to see if your boobs grow any more. I understand your feelings though and wish you the best in your decision. I hope whatever you decide works out great for for you.

  • This is a choice you should be making with your doctor. Not random internet people.

  • I'd go with the C I have had D-DD cup breasts since junior high and it's absolute hell. I love them but they get so annoying. A C cup wouldn't constrict you from doing anything like exercise and such but it would still be bi enough to fill out a nicely fitting bikini!

  • C cups... There is a such things as too big and since you were naturally an A D's might look unproportionate.

  • I say don't do it... bigger boobs won't give you no damn confidence. You just wanna feel among... if anything, spend that money on some confidence.
I say you are setting yourself up for some serious disaster... do you know that a good percentage guys dislike fake boobs? i mean, they are good to look at but thats IT.
get boobs as big as you want, you will only end up being "arm candy" because you will only attract a certain type of guys who only like you for your "boobs" and how they can show you off in public.
stay with your natural gift, if you were given A cups... take it.. and know there will be some guy out there who appreciates it. rock it loud and proud.

but if you still want to be superficial... go with C... D-cup girls whine enough already. The choice is yours "arm candy" or "true love".
    "superficial" or "deep"...
you choose how to flush the toilet.
(oh... just a tip.. its better to find a guy who likes you as is, THEN have a talk about if he would like you with bigger boobs)

  • You should transition to a C cup. Larger breasts can put more of a strain on your back, so you should try something a bit smaller, but C is still pretty big.

  • As you said, this is your decision so why even ask this question? Do whatever makes you happier.

  • Why not spend that money on something more worthwhile?

  • The difference between C and D cups on the same bandsize isn't that much...

    • IKR and that's why I can't decide! 😜

    • As you worded it, it made it look like you thought C's are medium and D's are beach balls, sorry. :")

  • Honestly I think you should wait a few years. When I was your age I desperately wanted implants, I was a 34A. I glad I didn't because my breasts continued to grow until I was 22, now I'm a 32D.

  • As a girl with natural D cups... Love ur boobs 4 what they r both b4 and after surgery... But i personally think that d cups r more annoying than they r nice so I would go with c cup

  • C if you have a small frame. I'm a C and they feel big on me, but I am a petite girl too, 5'3 and size 10.
But if you're 5'7 and taller then I'd say go for a D.

  • There's no option for requesting you stay at A cup. That would have been my chosen option. Always remember that boob size dosn't make a difference when it comes to attractiveness. A girl that's A cup can be more attractive and more feminine than one with C or D cups. Having a boob job and going up to a C may not get rid of those insecurities and may not boost your confidence. These are psychological issues that may persist even after surgery.

  • I think a C cup would be a safe bet, not too huge but still a big difference. Good luck.

    • Thank you!

  • A B or C cup. I don;'t like oversized boobs.

  • Have you picked out your doctor and gone for your consult yet?

I just did this very thing last week. I can give you some insight.

  • I think you're great at an A

  • Don't do it.

    • my MHO

  • I won't tell you not to enhance, but please consider these items.
Myself and many other guys LOVE smaller boobs.
I will always go for an A or B girl first, petite is sweet!
You might be bypassing the guy of your dreams if boobs too large.
I have seen many augmentations that are excessive and detractive.
According to your profile pic, you are slim, and C or D would be too much.
Consider B if you have to do it.
You are young and still growing.
In a few tears you might not even need bags of buff stuffed into you.
Several of my ex GFs were A in their teens. By early twenties they were Bs
By thirty they were C., negating any need for artificial surgery.
All had no problems getting boyfriends, and were quite sexy as is.
Also consider the scars and possible loss of sensation.
    Bigger is not necessarily better.

  • D is the average size now so you can get that but back problems is a major issue I miss B cups!
