Girls, Why does my dog smell my vagina?

Ever since I missed my period last month and in march I was just spotting my little chi keeps smelling my vagina and then smells the spot I was sitting on an then starts to lick an dig what is this about we think I might be pregnant but my Dr says I'm not.. Pls advice
